they make a clear version of this stuff too. Ive seen guys plastidip their hoods in it with the clear stuff. Think cheap 3M clear bra. Works awesome. But does attract dust...

Wow so easy. I failed plasti dipping my hood. went trough three cans and it came out uneven. Its taking me 3 days now to take off with 3 hour sessions. It doesnt come out as one piece. I wish I did more layers -__- I have resorted to peeling it off bit by bits with duct tape. In fact I'm head out to my garage to remove the remaining.

@m5dinan i tried my hood too, first mistake, shouldve spray one HEAVY coat first, mine came out really spotty and some spots looked horribly uneven, ended up peeling it right off.

Just looking for an opinion~...i have an old beat up 92 corolla with faded brown paint, would it look better if i just plastidipped the whole car? and if i did how long would the plasidip last?

It would last about 5 months if you went through winter seems to be the general consensus.

Up to a year if you're careful with no winter.

But in the end it's not worth it for a 92 corolla. The paint would cost you probably $300-500 depending on how thick you want it. Just accept the fact that you're driving a 92 corolla, and all is well.
