@chichikissx i'd definitely do it again...europe was expensive, and that room, small though it was, served its purpose and saved us money = works for me =)
@angelenroute - sorry boys but you are following a very American stereotype when abroad as if the rest of the world is somewhat inferior. It is the impression you gave
@bajbaje well a lot of people have thought what we wanted them to think--that it was a fun video about a small room that was small in a FUN way--we saved money, got a good deal and made a fun video too---and we are Americans who know that Europe and the world at large has got a lot to offer that America never will...but again, sorry you think that, it must get lost in translation for some, but was never our intention--and we WOULD take that same room again next time we're in London! =)
@bajbaje not sure why people think we didn't enjoy it because we did very much =) we saved money and got a fun experience and fun video out of it too, yay haha
@shockres there is air conditioning, so it's very comfortable...it won't be stuffy just claustrophobic a bit...but it keeps you wanting to explore the city more and not stay in your hotel room, so it's all good! =)
Ah, I'm actually looking forward to stay there! (after first booking a hotel somewhere in Croydon where I'd probably got shot or stabbed or robbed this seems like an awesome alternative)
@StillNoUseForAName --we were in the South Kensington location...clean room and nice neighborhood and the hotel is great, but yes, if you stay in the small windowless room, it's small =) (but you save $ and want to get out more and see London) good luck and have fun! --Sean
I think it's all fair enough really - the booking website says very clearly that the rooms are small. It even gives the dimensions - and it tells you that there are some rooms without windows so you know this when you book, and you in fact get to choose the 'window' or 'no window' option. In other words, you get what you book. If they had provided a room that was different from what you booked then you can complain. But not if they give you what you asked for.
a friend and i are going to london this month ! we just booked a double room without window in that hotel ! ... haha that really is small ! any advise ? 'how to survive an easyhotelroom ' ? ;)
best advice I can give is this: you booked your room to save money, not so you could look out at london from your hotel room...make sure you spend the extra 5 pound or whatever it is for the TV remote so you can watch TV, but other than that, remember that you're going there to see London, not to see a hotel room...so just expect it'll be small and make the most of it! =) and if it's a double size bed like we had, I hope you and your friend are very close ;-) mssg me anytime for more info
haha yes we're close. and I'm not atracted to girls too much :) .
Thanks for the info !! Yes, we're there to see London ! We were planning not to take the remote, just to save the horrendous amount og 6€ ( I'm German ) for watching TV... But If you say we should get it, we probably will ;)
well I agree with you about saving money but you may find it's claustrophobic without SOMETHING to look at =) ...try doing without it then and if you decide to get it, you can get it the next day or something
That is scary small!!! I know of similarly priced accommodation in London that is a lot better/bigger, and even comes with a window! lol. Do you plan another trip to London anytime soon?
it's worth it if you can afford to...this hotel room cost us 100 a night U.S. so tho it's tiny and, you know, windowless lol, it really was fine if you need to save money and strange as it sounds, we might even do it again next time we go =)
Interesting Space Planning for sure. I think it was a HUGE risk building this concept...but maybe not, you are there! it is kinda "boat-ish" but for people who only sleep in their room and are back out on the town, it meets the need.
it was also the only hotel you could get for that price, and at the exchange rates we've had lately, coming from the u.s. it made a lot of sense...was it ideal? of course not, farrrrrrrr from it, but we managed =) thanks for commenting!
Just wondering if this is a standard or a small room
Rosiesantos12 9 months ago
@Rosiesantos12 Easy Hotel has different size rooms available, this one was definitely one of the small options. =) We chose it to save $.

I completely agree! =) We weren't complaining, just wanted everyone to see how small because it's just funny how tiny it is. =)
angelenroute 2 years ago
That is compact.
What about noise? Are the walls paper-thin so you can hear your neighbour breathing?
johnshenton999 2 years ago
haha no we didn't have any noise from our neighbo(u)rs at all, good question though!

Wow... Economical at least. Though granted, most of a trip I plan on only being in the room to sleep so... *shrug* It works I guess.

yeah that's what we figured...it wasn't ideal but was definitely cheap =)
