  • thanks for upload

  • Sounds like some kind of remix like a club mix, based on how they are repeating and breaking the mantra. I hated what they did to it, I am sorry, good stuff but not to my liking. The power of mantra is in how they are said. This was wrong.

  • @ushtox. Just to clarify. They are simply following a 4000+ year old tradition of repeating the words in a certain specific pattern so that they can remember and commit them to memory. These memorization techniques, at least 8 of them, were a highly systematic means employed by the ancient Indians to remember vast corpus of texts. Which is why Sanskrit is the only language in the world that preserved its texts the same way it sounded when it was first composed.

  • @shekharveera Thank you ShekharVeera. I used to chant them one way and this was very different to it so I did not like it initially, but I am glad that I also listened to this system of chanting, 4000 years old...this rythm is funk, trance music popular today, I liked it, you can almost play it in a nightclub and have the ravers go into enlightened trance, great composer, 4000 years old. Thank you.

  • hinduism is not a religion, outside people know nothing about it and yet deem it as a polyethiest religion, when u come to know of it u realise it is the eternal law of the universe and life, it was since time immemorial. it is and it will remain, because religions come and go,the laws remain

  • If it were upto NDTV, Times Now, CNN IBN, Times of India, "The Hindu" (ironically), CPI/CPM, Congress these children will be booked under hate-speech. Our languages would be written in Arabic rather than Devanagari Script. Crush pseudo-secularism and establish the flag of dharma all over Bharathavarsha (India, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan). Har Har Mahadev. Ayodhya liberated...Mathura and Kashi next...Rebuild every temple that was destroyed and even that will not be enough!!!

  • Very beautiful. Someone please can give me the lyrics?

  • Hinduism is still surviving because of young boys like these. In this age of Technology I think the technology survives because of spititual chants only.

  • salution to sun god who enlightens our conciousness

  • Incredible!!

  • Does anyone know the name of this chant?

  • Gayatri Mantra

  • Thanks!

  • This is Gayatri mantra a highly revered mantra, Sanskrit verse from Rig Veda. The mantra is

    tát savitúr váreṇyam

    bhárgo devásya dhīmahi

dhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyāt. There are various methods of recitation of sloka. If you imagine any sloka with say 5 letters (say 1 2 3 4 5) the continuous recitation in sequence of letters is known as Samhithai.

Here they are reciting in Ghanam style which means.---

Reciting of three letters in this order

    i.e., 1221123321123, 2332234432234

  • Simply beautiful, powerful and uplifting.

  • Exquisitely soothing! Never fails to move me each time I hear it.

  • I am coming back to this piece cause I really like it. Fresh and powerful and straight forward. This interpretation reminds me of a very fast train moving towards its destiny. Great singers!

  • That should be: In India you get the best and the worst at the same time.

  • its how you understand india, there is no difference between best and worst.. india is a greater Tolerance... different lever of living.. not survival or existance like in the 1st world nations

  • Indians are great!

  • In India you the best and the worst at the same time.

  • Well said friend!

  • This is the so-called Ghanapatha of the Gayatri. It goes like this: तत्सवितु-स्सवितु-स्तत्तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं वरेण्यग्ं सवितु-स्ततत्सवितुर्वरेण्यम्। etc.

    (svaras not marked)

  • 卐 आँ हरि आँ 卍
