@skinny115 The buck in this video is bigger than this yrs buck by 5 inches. This buck scored 169 6/8" and this yrs buck scored 164 6/8".  If you hunt close to me your hunting a good area great genitics just need to let them get some age on them. Both bucks we killed at my place this year we passed last yr as super 140 and a mid 50s 3yr olds. They both put on 20" for 3 to 4yrs old. Good luck hunting!

to you out of state hunters,the deer claimed to be in licking muskingum coshocton countys is false. If you research hunting license sales in ohio this is where most of the hunters are from and where they get checked in,not where they are killed

I live in south MS. We are heading up to the east of columbus in the second week of November, to bow hunt. I can't wait, hopefully the bucks will be chasing does. The only thing is we will be hunting on public land.

1. Do you practice that shot, quartering away so hard like that? I have only been bow hunting 3 years and up until now I don't think I'd be comfortable taking it but this year I started practicing those shots.

2. I see you are wearing a Hunter Safety System but I didn't see it tethered to the tree...or was it just not visible?

The shot wasnt as sharp quartering as it appeared on film the camera was a couple feet to my right. He was 15yrs quartering i took out his heart and as you seen he only went 25yds.

As far as the HSS vest tethered question. I attach it low so it dont ever get in the way of drawing. I had a tether years ago get in the way while drawing where i had to reach over the tether.

@outdoorsmi Thanks for the reply. I have a HSS too and my only complaint is when I have a shot hard to my left (I am a left handed shot) and have to stand and face towards the tree to shoot the tether interferes with the draw. But I always have it tethered at head height (standing) so the tether is taut when sitting. I might have to try putting it lower like you do.
