I am Pakistani and I have no problem with Ataturk. He rescued Turks from being dissected completely by every major European power + Russia after the fall of Ottoman Empire. He had to take drastic steps but so what? Who are we to judge? If it wasn't for him, Istanbul would be Constantinople and every wet dream of every crusader from Churchill to Obama would be fulfilled.
