  • Articwolfxx- It's called gullible.

  • ArticWolfxx nailed it on the head. It starts within yourself. That is the key to life. Be good. Therefore you will be happy.

  • Dangerous slave cult!!!

  • Scientology only uses very strong psychological methods to manipulate as many people as possible to become their followers, They don't care about how people opposed to them think, they are not trying to make sense and reason. They just get through interviews and lawsuits like that leaving confusion. They're fine being looked at as creeps. The people who are already under their control are being pulled in deeper and deeper, till eventually it becomes nearly impossible to leave the church.

  • Let there be no doubt that Scientology staff are intelligent people. To understand their depth used in their methods, you would have to study psychology to a far level. You may think only lesser intelligent people can possibly be affected by their methods, but this is not true. The starting levels of Scientology are actually quite clean, pure and respectable, which is the most dangerous part of it.

  • A major key influence of Scientology, is that the studies teach a person's mind that Scientology IS helping. This works by letting people automatically credit every positive or beneficial situation that happens to them, such as getting through hard times during one's life, to Scientology. While every negative situation is assigned to personal failure, along the lines of not having studied Scientology enough. Scientology presents itself to being the key knowledge of Everything.

  • For a simple human mind, given time it becomes very hard to not fall for it, to not start believing Scientology is the reason for saving them. Be aware that every religion does this to a certain point, but none of them as smart as Scientology has done. Think of Islam or even Jehovah's witnesses, and how many people have fallen for them. They envy the Church of Scientology.

  • So that brings us to: What can we do about it? What can we do against such powerful forces? Believe in yourself, believe in the environment you create INSIDE you, as well as the environment you create for your family. You do not need any religion to help others, to be a good person. Do note that bringing a religion into you or your family's life isn't necessarily wrong. But just as with every part of your life, keep it within certain boundaries. Use the good aspects, leave the rest.

  • @jaikwillis i have first hand experience of the harm that scientology has done. if you can sit there, and with all integrity and honesty, believe that scientology has done no harm, than, with all due respect, you dont know what you are talking about.

  • i think jaikwillis is a scientologist...

  • @aerialspring yup big time scientogist he spends alot of time defending it.

  • A complete scam. Hubbard was a liar and worse-a dangerous cult.

  • at 6:59 they talk of an internatal power struggle. why would there be such a thing amongest inlightened beings? seems like such a WOG thing to do!!

  • l. ron's goal was to manipulate people and make as much money as humanly possible...he admits the whole thing is a scam

  • They're only marginally more crazy than most religions.

  • L Ron Hubbard is DEAD

    Jesus Christ is ALIVE

    whos the REAL GOD

  • um, no they are both dead. except that we have pretty good evidence L Ron Hubbard actually existed outside of mythology, unlike Jesus or Zeus or the Smurfs.

  • Hubbard was a proven crackpot ...the fact that people conform to $cientology is funny ... ye sick twisted groomed copyrighted psycho's !!!

  • the smurfs arent real?????wtf!

  • LOL!

  • jesus got fucked up on a cross and stabbed with lances and thorns and whipped anf flogged

  • i am

  • fuck u dont tell me to b careful with my answer asshole cult yes or no religion yes or no?

  • fuckme? no fuck you cjms08. Its a cult if Christianity is a cult also.

  • that took awhile for your response why is it when someone says something bad about scientology they attack christianity and i'm not even a christian

  • because Christianity is somehow acceptable when it rapes babies and starts wars, but Scientology is some big bad thing when the goofballs who sign up for it find out its goofy. Scientology looks almost sane in comparison to the more standard religions. Of course its not, its nutty as fruitcake. But as an institution it has done far less harm than the larger more malevolent groups like Christianity & Islam. Its not an attack on Christianity, its just history and plain fact.

  • give it time it still an infant compared to islam and chritianity

  • so than you concede that Scientology has not caused any kind of harm in comparison to the other equally batshit mainstream religions, yet you are going to single it out and attack it alone. If you are going to attack religions, then at least be equitable about it, focus on the ones that cause the most harm first.

  • i do i know people who are cannot except other religions but there own and bad mouth the other religions to peoples faces yet they themselves are always talking about forgiveness and equality to other men

  • sure sjms08, so again, why single out scientology? its no more goofy, and no more fraudulent than any other religion, and has a less horrific collection of historical atrocities, its less active in politics etc etc, than manstream religions. so be equitable, thats all.

  • That is only because Scientolgy has not been able to grow as large and widespread as other Mainstream Religions. However they cover up rapes in the Sea Org, they cover up deaths (Lisa Mcpherson). It is believed they had something to do with alleged "Suicide" of Shawn Lonsdale.

They tried to "take over" Clearwater, Florida in 2000 by hiring Off-Duty police officers and turning them into their own bias "Scientology Police"

  • If you actually read their "tech" you will find references to "Homo Novis" which shows how Scientologists find themselves an entirely different race "about a skyscraper higher than Homo Sapiens" this, carries a frightening similarity to Nazi Germany's Aryan Ideology

Further Reading Shows how they intend to "delete" all "aberrated people" from the world in an attempt to "Clear the Planet" and make it more "Sane"

  • @Xstatic112 clearing the planet ?sounds just like Islam and Christianity's view of the apocalypse they are so eager to get started. There's nothing in common with nazism in what you said, you're grasping. Mormons say similar things. you also are completely misusing their quotes, wildly out of context. The scientology quacks talk about "clear" as in clear thoughts, not killing people. You sound desperate in your attacks against a small relatively docile group of goofs.

  • While Clearing the Planet SOUNDS like christianity's Apocalypse. They are completely different concepts.

The Apocalipse is an event that is suppose to take place without human intervention.

Clearing The Planet, refers to Scientologists cleaning up all "Aberration" from the world by "Deleting" undesirables from Society.

"Homo Novis" is NOT Standard Clear, it is a level above that known as MEST Clear or more commonly "Homo Novis"

  • It is covered in Chapter 5 of Scientology: History of Man by L.Ron Hubbard.

"Perhaps at some distant date only the unaberrated person will be granted civil rights before law. Perhaps the goal will be reached at some future time when only the unaberrated person can attain to and benefit from citizenship. These are desirable goals." - L.Ron Hubbard DIANETICS p. 534

  • That quote shows how Hubbards Goal would be make it so that only "Unaberrated People" (Scientolgists) could benefit from Citizenship or Civil Rights before law.

Only Two Allegations were mentioned, The Murder of Shawn Launsdale and Child Labor

However There are several witnesses that claim to have been raped by Sea Org members, and claim the "Church" as covered up these rapes.

  • And of course there's also allegations that Scientology is has children as young as 12 participate in child labor for the "church".

Furthermore i do not believe Scientology to be a Religion or a Cult, Scientology looks a lot more like (to me) an Organization of Medical Quackery scamming people out of Billions of Dollars and hiding behind the Religious Cloak to avoid any governmental action from being taken against them and their Tax-Exempt Status

  • @Xstatic112 of i see, allegations, like you say so , so its now an allegation. empty. the Catholic Church has been systematically raping children for centuries, and you are focusing way to much energy on this tiny relatively harmless, albeit foolish and goofy, religion.

All religions in the US are hiding their quackery behind tax exemptions. The Christian Scientists & Jehovah's Witnesses would be a better target for you if that's your concern.

  • Scientology while a Small Cult, it is everything but harmless, it disconnects families.

It covers up rapes, it attacks its critics in attempts to destroy them and their lives in what is known as the "Fair Game" policy.

It gained Tax Exemption by Using Black P.R against the IRS

And currently has billions of Dollars at it's disposal that are used to investigate critics, fund hundreds of empty "Ideal Orgs" and to pay for a Cruise Ship loaded with Blue Asbestos.

  • Put Short:

dozens of women have claimed to have been raped at ages 12-20

ex-scientologists (Including Jenna Miscavige) have claimed to have been forced to work (physical labor) for the church as at ages as young as 12

Scientology "Fair Games" it's Critics in attempts to shut the up by destroying their lives (See: "Operation Freakout")

People have died from Cancer due to the Blue Asbestos present in the "Freewinds" for years

  • @Xstatic112 raped by whom? specifically. jehovahs witnesses and mormons put 12 year olds to work for the organizations also. When you are digging as desperately as the construction materials on a boat they own, it discredits your other claims.

  • People Get placed in RPF camps and forced to work physical labor, whenever they do anything even slightly outside Hubbard's "tech"

Child ABUSE as evident in the Wally Hanks audio tape that was recently uncovered, it contains audio of a man named Wally Hanks whipping a teenage child

The gruesome death of Lisa McPherson in the Fort Harrison Hotel, caused due to Scientologists refusing to take her to a nearby hospital and instead driving past FOUR hospitals to get to a scientologist doctor

  • @Xstatic112 "forced" how exactly ? a man who is a scientlogist named willy does something criminal, ok, if I present a catholic who did something criminal will you even out your attacks to include all organized religion? Lisa's death sounds identical to thousands of deaths of even young children from the refusal of Christian Scientists and Jehovah's Witnesses to use scientific medical help like hospitals. Your attacks are singling out one religion, but apply to all of them.

  • @jaikwillis Catholics cover up quite a few things. I don't exactly like them too much either.

  • All of it covered up by Scientology, and all of it partially funded by Tax Payers due to their Tax Exempt Status.

Say what you will about pedophilia in Catholic Churches, but, at least the Catholic Church as a whole assumed responsability for this and are trying to end the problem. Scientology covers things like this up, in fear that if the word gets out, they'll get bad P.R. not only that the Sea Org members responsible for these actions are not punished in any way.

  • @Xstatic112 The Catholic Church did NOT assume responsibillity at all !! They were forced to under criminal convictions that they fought for decades ! Trying to end the problem?? The Pope himself was involved and only his diplomatic immunity kept him from prosecution ! They covered it up for centuries, and raped thousands of children, and thats the least of that church's crimes.

Your attacks on the religion of Scientology are desperate nit picking comparatively to nearly ANY other religion

  • @jaikwillis Scientology is the most cult-like at the present moment. We're trying to change them into something more religeon-like.

  • @EdwardWongIV the difference between a religion and a cult is the number of believers and followers. Any dude + 12 apostles = cult.

  • @Xstatic112 your random disconnected allegations are repeated but not referenced. and still small peanuts compared to the average organized religion.

  • @jaikwillis Your own disconnected allegation of the pope raping children is not referenced...

  • @EdwardWongIV actually Edward, the pope is directly cnnected to the child rape cases in Germany, read the news my friend. The infallibillity of the pope is a key part of the belief system, so a lot of believers will fall on their sword to save his reputation, but its already been revealed that he moved a known child rapist around and did not have him criminally prosecuted, that's a currnt news story on every major source. Its been known for quite awhile though.

  • All this jibber jabb. The bottom line is that $cientology uses mind controll and preys on the weak it is dangerous. Christianity is free and people can come and go as they please. They are not locked in a room or chained to a pipe in the basement. One should not put the two in the same sentence. $cientologist dont know what they are getting in to until its too late this cult must be destroyed

  • nonsense, Chri$tianity is oppressive, it tries to infiltrate the government through school vouchers, anti-gay legislation, direct pressure from the church to the voter(you will go to Hell if you vote for X) , etc etc . Chri$tianity has been a tool for evil & ignorance throughout its existence, its a much more dangerous cult than some little silly thing like Scientology. Scientologists haven't burned people at the stake or held inquisitions, or imprisoned scientists like Galileo, or started wars

  • no one burns people anymore so stop trying to compare it to the middle ages every religion is anti gay even yours and there are more then just one religion attacking scientology and if this was the middle ages scientology would probably have burned people at the stake to but it has only bin around for 50 yrs and is using technology as part of there recruitment tools which the did not have even 100 years ago

  • cjms08, you ignorance shines. not every religion is anti-gay, there are many world cultures where it was acceptable. And actually, people burn people all the time, the US used incendiary weapons in Iraq, for example.

In any case Scientology is no more malevolent than any other organized religion. Their church leaders don't even rape children like the catholic church allowed. They don't promote war & mass murder the way the right wing American Christians & Radical Muslims both do.

  • is it a cult or religion ? and u have some good points but weapons are a part war they are not burning them at the stake and telling them to repent

  • Is jesus with 12 apostles a cult. be careful with your answer. any religion IS a large cult. the scientologists are also not burning anyone at the stake or telling anyone to repent. what's your point? the (illegal) incendiary weapons were part of a war that was part of religion. people are executed for breaking religious codes in many countries. Scientology by all comparisons is quite docile. They have their own views and are repressed by other religions who's beliefs are not any more logical.

  • yea, scientologists don't burn people. they just steal all their money, ruin families and leave sick people do be eaten by rats and roaches... you should be fucking ashamed of yourself for defending such a horrible and delusional cult.

  • The Scientologists are no worse than any other church, if anything they are more honest. At least they don't rape children like the Catholics did institutionally. Or spread bigotry and war like the Protestant conservatives or Islamic conservatiives or Jewish conservatives, etc. Scientology is pretty docile, people join or leave as they wish. No one is beheaded or forced to wear a burkah. They don't even try to change laws to force their beliefs on others like the Christians. Live & let live

  • oh man, you obviously ARE one of those xenu worshipping freaks and/or you are extremely ignorant of facts. either way, enjoy paying for your non existent super powers to a signed and documented fraud cult.

  • Nope randomjunglist but you are awful quick to leap to random false conclusions. I am not at all a scientologist. Not even close. And you are extremely ignorant if you think the scientologists are responsible for anything near the amount of death and destruction that the Judeo-Chriso-Islamic religions reap on a daily basis. Scientology is goofy, just as goofy as asking a long dead jewish cult leader to forgive you of fictional sins. Its no different than any other religion, no more or less valid

  • i'm not leaping. you are defending scientology, therefore you are just as bad as they are. and don't spout off about which religion is worse, they are all ridiculous...cept maybe buddhism, which is a philosophy, not ideology. Mormonism and scientology are PROVEN to be fraudulent not like the others where they spout "faith." THAT is why everyone protest. you are just acting like those crazy cultists that attack ANON on the many many vids on this site. you want to fair game me?

  • Christianity is also proven to be just as fraudulent, so what? If what I am doing by equating equally wacky religions is defending Scientology, that would mean what you were doing by saying its worse is defending the Taliban. Neither is true, but thats the sort of wild leap you made.

Scientology is goofy but the organization doesn't do play the sorts of horrific global games of death and war that Judeo-Christo-Islamic religion does. Scientology is just a wacky club. Pretty docile in comparison

  • man you need to work on your logic. where do i defend the taliban. and if you think it's a wacky club, talk to the thousands of people's lives it ruined. "oh wow, like my whole business and all my friends shun me. I receive death threats. my family won't aknowledge me...so wild n wacky..." what a cunt you are. yes, judeochrisislam is bad blahblahblah you just love repeating yourself over and over and over.

  • Mr "random" , people who's lives were "ruined" by scientology opted in to it, they could opt out also. I seem to need to repeat myself because of the density of your skull. Scientology is a religion, just like Christianity, and they are both equally wacky, the difference is that Scientology isn't raping children institutionally or invading peoples countries or making laws to force people to act like them the way Christo-Islamic religions do. Or flying planes into buildings. Its relatively docile

  • Cryptsub- Point out, please, where I stated that religions are harmful. I implied a belief they're nonsense. But people, especially my fellow Americans, love nonsense. Look at the popularity of tv shows about ghosts and psychics. And I'm sure when the day comes when the Abrahamic faiths do pass out of existence, they'll be replaced by something equally ridiculous. I hope someday they ALL go away. Maybe then we can finally live in peace.

  • Almost all religions start out as 'cults'. The reason is they go against the dominant cultural and/or spiritual beliefs of those in power. It doesn't matter who started them. Christianity and scientology are no different in that respect. Even if L. Ron Hubbard had been a saint of a man, those in power would still have found a way to vilify him. They have to. They can't give up the power. Why aren't people more upset by that? See my previous comment for my opinion. Also, go see "Religulous".

  • kodiak- there is a big difference. there are people who have god in their lives. they FEEL god, and are guided or influenced by him/her/it. scientology, we can PROVE, was devised by an unstable chemical abuser, schister, crook. also, are you aware at the power grabs the cult does? the motivation of select individuals within the cult is money.

  • No, religious people feel not "god" or "thor" but a delusion after repetitions of nonsense for their entire lives. They are guided & influenced by that. What you defend of your religion, is what Scientologists defend of their own religion, what you see as the craziness of Scientology is really the way all religion looks from the outside. Its all organized madness, irrational thought, & blind superstition. Scientology does have the benefit of fooling people into being successful & efficient tho

  • Your saying that since all religions are harmful, Scientology should be left alone? That doesn't make a shitload of sense. Judaism, Christianity and Islam - which you say are the equivalent of Scientology - haven't "crumble(d) from the inside out" after many centuries of existence.

  • More clearly, its not that Scientology should be left alone, but that it and all religion should be left alone with thor and zeus. That judeo-christian-islam hasn't crumbled is just a testament to their connections to military and weapons from the Roman era forward, and speaks nothing of the validity of those mythologies over any other non-rational mythologies, seeing Scientology from the outside should give you reflection on what your and all religion looks like when viewed from the outside.

  • no, i disagree. scientology is not a religion. its a business disguised as one. hubbard made up the "tech" that guides their lives. you cant prove jesus was not divine. you cant prove that god doesnt exist.

  • you are welcome to disagree. But you could say the same of any large organized religion, it takes money to run any large organization. I don't need to prove god doesn't exist, anymore than i need to prove that Smurfs aren't real. I haven't even seen anything to show jesus lived at all, & even assuming he did that he wasn't a Koresch or Manson, a much more likely scenario. The burden of proof is on you if you want to believe, let alone prosthelytize, a mythology so illogical & unlikely.

  • Now do you want to know why all these people are turning against Scientology, and not the Krishnas? Is it perhaps common knowledge what the Krishnas have done and continue doing? No, it's about the money. Stating the obvious, right? Get straight and turn against the real harm and evil - The Hare Shitna!

  • Scientology is a cult. A gobal scam.

    L. Ron Hubbard was nuts. His space opera and alien ramblings is crazy stuff and anyone that believes it should get their Jedi costume on and go to the nearest Starwars convention.

"Make money, make more money, have others make money for you!!" LRH

  • Scientology is the world's most dangerous global crime syndicate + cult.

They really DO kill people -- WORLDWIDE.

    Read FN4UdotCOM now!

  • bull-shit! that's a gay porn link

  • There right it is a plot, a plot called truth.

  • voi credete a tutte queste bugie contro scientology? auuauhauhauhaauhauh

  • I made up like 200 bumper stickers that say "Proud to be Fair Game". I placed these stickers on any cars I saw where pro-scientology bumper stickers.

  • The U.S. Navy evaluation of Hubbard in 1942 said, "In the opinion of the commandant he is not temperamentally fitted for independent command". It continued, we "believe Hubbard capable of useful service if ordered to other duty under the immediate supervision of a more senior officer".

Only Scientologists are stupid enough that Hubbard was a genius and a leader.

  • Scientology total bull shit

  • Xenu (also Xemu), pronounced /ˈziːnuː/, according to Scientology founder (and speculative fiction writer) L. Ron Hubbard, was the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions[1] of his people to Earth in DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Scientology holds that their essences remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm. - wiki

  • lol bunch of kooks, gtfo my country.

  • did you go to war for this country?

  • Scientology is a cult. Look how they react when interviews that were invited..

    SAD...

  • (Sigh) A cult managed by a SOCIOPATH... Such is a fate to all those that are (Charasmatic, paranoid, and SERIOUSLY decitful nature...) There is nothing more entertaining that seeing a sociopath praise his people. ^_^ I just love this sort of thing... (I need information from these things.)

  • There is a big difference between urging someone to defend themselves from a physical threat, and urging someone to defend themselves from a criticism or verbal attack. When it is physical it is called 'self-defense.' When it is verbal, it is called a 'CRIME'.

  • scientology was abet made between L Ron hubbard and isac asminov both athiest that he could creat a religon. And people would follow.

  • dude do you belive every myth you read? jesus christ.

  • U.S. Congress is taking so much time to crack down on steroid use in sports right now... hopefully they can move on to Scientology next, and find some REAL criminals.

BTW, if 60 minutes did another report on Scientology right now, I guarantee they would get huge ratings.

  • the best thing about this report is that those two scientologists they interviewed did more to defame themselves than defend, and the only people who believed the BS they spouted were the brainwashed followers behind them.

  • Pretty fascist organization, dividing people into Scientologists and SP's.

  • Zealots.

    Been there, done that.

  • "In Xenu We Trust"

  • yah, Xenu... "crazy." ALL HAIL XENU!

  • According to Radar Magazine, when Grey, CEO of Paramount, was walking to his car one night after tense negotiations with Cruise over Mission: Impossible 3, he was "surrounded by more than a dozen Scientologists, who pressured him to ease up on the actor ... Following a terse exchange, the visitors allowed Grey to get into his car and leave, but the message was clear." Grey reportedly stood his ground and convinced Cruise to accept a lower fee than the actor had initially demanded.

  • Scientologists were creepy shits then and they're creepy shits now.

  • Easy: scam artist, liar, crackpot, etc.

  • L.Ron Hubbard REPEATEDLY stated "Scientology is not a religion." How do they explain that?

  • They don't... because the government of the U.S. hasn't taken them to task.
