In order to evolve Yacque, you need to match the description as close as you can. I have also uploaded a video on how to evolve Yacque back.
There is a picture of him in the cave with a green plant blocking it. You don't need to bring him back to exactly how he was, but close to it. When I looked back on this video before, I realized I was missing a few plates on his torso.
The parts I have on him now are: Gobsterclaw, Stalkgazer, Thundercalf, Meekling, Taptoe, Butterbib, Cornutopia, Problem-Solvent, Pool Party-Foul, Antisoptera, Jemite and Mackne. He might not look like this for long though. I'll need double jump for the next area I'm heading to.
