I think they got the temporal causality wrong.

If Shock got sent to the future, and skipped 40 years, then he did not partake in those 40 years. If that is the case, then everything should be different, and not as seen in this show.

@LivesForJihad Well there is a part where Batman says he doesn't remember this at all. I think all the time zones are separate like different rooms. As if different versions of all possible events. With infinitely different spectrum. Meaning none are connected, all different versions of the original set of events. One Batman/Superman cross movie explained it in that way. One world Bruce Wayne was poor, another one they died and not their parents. Ect.

Actually, what I remember hearing about was the robin in the teen titans show was revealed to be Dick Grayson, but Dick Grayson in Batman the animated series had already become Nightwing by the time Static Shock got his powers. Thus having Static Shock meet the Teen Titans would be impossible without creating a whole new Teen Titans specifically for this show and the creators were like... "Nah."

I don't think that was the same Teen Titans as the one's in the show, because the one in the show is most like Dick Grayson (though the writers adamantly refuse to acknowledge the identity of that Robin) while the one shown in Static Shock was Tim Drake.

@vidmasterx7 Static was made by a comic company called "Milestone" that housed a whole bunch of unique, racially diverse superheros....The company was under DC but not truly DC's....Static and the other characters were in their own universe for a while until a few years ago when they were inducted into the regular DC Universe....I don't know if DC owns them, but they have the rights to use them for now. Static had his own book in the 90's and a new one that just started recently set in NY.
