I dont care who you are u can not say a replica is just as good as a original Cobra GT40 or Daytona coupe. But ill give u tha fact that only 6 Daytona Coupes were made and they were beat to hell by the time they were sold. Also they were race cars not street cars. Same with the Gt40.But still i would rather take an original and take the time to restore it. Oh, forgot to say. Just check out my videos to see how a Superformance runs with a properly set up Roush engine. I'm starting from idle of about 1000 rpm and still run a 10.7 @ 130 mph. The supercharged mustang I'm racing would be a realistic comparison for your car.

Superformance builds the fiberglass Shelby cars which are built as recreations of original.

No doubt your car is a classic. It's just a diffrent deal, nice, just diffrent.

The replica GT40 is built as close to original as possible but the technology with the motors and suspensions are much better. The cars are not KITS they are a complete rolling chassi minus the motor and trans. They have built a better car through technology. David

this is a vid bout cobras why are guys talkin bout gtrs and zr1s!?..and yes the zr1 did beat the gtr but it wasn't a raping as some of you import haters would like to claim..slalom speeds were almost the same @ 74ish mph 0-60 was the same..gtr ran11.5 zr1 ran 11.3 1/4 et on button willow zr1 ran 1:23 gtr ran 1:25..zr1 had the gtr by 10ft in braking...thats not really a raping considering how much bigger that engine is and how much more power it makes with 2 extra cylinders..

First of all, g has almost nothing to do with a car's performance. You may have a really quick car but it may not generate as much gs as another. And by the way, 1.19 itself is barely over 1.....

The amount of g's that a car can pull is a great measure of how well a car can enter and exit a turn.

Also, in a field where most cars car pull between .8 and 1g, 1.19g is a big difference...

Even if it was a "great measure," then i'm afraid that your information is flawed. If you watch the show "Top Gear," then you would know that the GTR is a phenomenal car. According to the testers, it pulls off amazing turns without hesitation. As for the "g's," I'll have you know that the force was so great that the tester, Jeremie C., had to be taken to the hospital because of neck injuries.
