  • @behemuth Dude pc has tons of viruses.. Mac has none or close to none... How am I a hipster?? Lol no one says that anymore... Lulz... If your going to comment.. Comment something good...

  • this is the exact reason why people use Linux

because there are even less viruses out there for Linux

  • goddamn i love how every comment on pc vs mac videos are like a paragraph.

  • It means

He watches too much porno out there these days.

  • This is the gayest parody ever. You're doing it wrong.

  • i say yes because certain sites and things you download have viruses and if you don't have any anti virus then you can get a virus easily

  • true true

  • @yannpip false false

  • @hogiedude gigitty gigitty gigitty guuuuu

  • @yannpip HAHAH FUNNY

  • Cmon guys. Stop fighting about if mac or pc are best. Its computers. Everybody decide what to take, like clothes. You dont start discussing if some people got other clothes than you :-)

  • @kevinDK2 BUT MAC STARTED THE FIGHT!!PC WILL END THE FUCKING!!

  • Thumps up if you are watching this video on a PC. But if you happen to watch this on a Mac, well, go suck dick to experience what virus is like.

  • @TchengWongFei I have experienced a virus (im a mac guy) but guess what IT WAS ON A P C yes pc so happy go buy a mac millennium!

  • @iamcats9 Honestly I am in same boat flipside though I decided to try a macbook. Got a virus within first month and battery exploded. Which I had never heard of until owning a mac. Apparently mac was so secure they decided to use the same firmware password on every single computer. Not only that but I ended getting the exact same pc hardware replacement for 1/4 of the price been virus free since I bought it.

  • Fix that audio, its crap and way too loud.

  • bull SHIT!!!!!! macs never get viruses this is supit!!!!!!

  • @funnyboy2234 nope, it's true. there is no computer that is invulnerable to viruses (including Linux)

  • @wilhamlin what about the wii?

  • @crazyguy1913 even the Wii can get a Virus... and 360, your old SNES and NES.

  • @wilhamlin

ok, I would love to see your means of transmission for an SNES virus.

  • @TAPriceCTR contrary to popular belief, the internet is not required to obtain a virus. In order to for the SNES virus to work, you'd need physical access to the system.

  • @wilhamlin

yes, I know you can get a virus by any program input means.

to my understanding until the PS2, (maybe the N64) the consoles were true firmware (rather than the small device OS stuff they are now calling firmware) and could not be altered without altering the hardware.. you would have to physicaly change the hardware to change the programming on the console. am I wrong?

  • @funnyboy2234 mad mac fag

  • Comment removed

  • @funnyboy2234

    Contrary to popular belief,

Macs get more viruses than PCs, This is because most Viruses can be detected before causing damage on a PC, whereas in a Mac, there is no such thing as a "Anti Virus Program" or "Security Update". And well, You have to go to a genius to fix your precious computer.

  • Comment removed

  • @funnyboy2234

Your language fails me, are you speaking English? -_-

  • I love how the PC catches the virus and never let's it go and the Mac deflects it off him ha :D

  • @FrenzyStorm brilliant

  • @FrenzyStorm so true

  • @FrenzyStorm its called a virus vault.

Oh, and if you get a virus on your mac, be damned sure you can't just google the symptoms and find a million pages how to remove it and prevent it from happening again.

    fucking hipster morons.

  • did you guys know that windows 7 doesn't have any viruses? the only REAL thing you can get is malware, spyware and adware, standard shit, but you have to downloaded malicious things to get them

  • go linux if ur paranoid about viruses

  • @TeruMikami2345 lol linux is like the wii of current generation game consoles...no one uses it

  • @chadunn13 Huh? Analogy fail, lots of people use both Linux and the Wii. Linux may not be predominant in the sexktop market, but it is on the server market. The fastest super computers in the world run on Linux. For the Wi, well you see the sales numbers? The Wii outsold the PS3 and the 360 by a large margin.

  • @PsychoKittyNet ya, it was a pretty bad analogy. ive never personally seen a linux computer, but i know they are pretty common. as for the wii, a lot of younger kids use it, so when u see a console war between the 360 and the ps3, ppl laugh when someone tries to bring a wii into it. i guess it seemed like that at the time to me with linux into a mac vs pc argument

  • PC SUCKS

  • @zomj14 Give us reasons.

  • @raggio333 mse deletes viruses, malaware, and spyware on sight.

  • @raggio333 no i said if your not retarded you wont get viruses. if you dont want viruses stop clicking on stuff thats ODVIOUSLY a virus.

  • @raggio333 yeah but if your not retarded you wont get one. simple as that

  • anyone notice tht mac was getting hit wit the viruses but the bounced off and went away and the pc gets 1 and never losses it and keeps it lol haaa proved the vid wrong

  • Its a much bigger chance to get a virus on a PC than it is on a Mac

  • @SSigurdsen Not for long ;)

  • Mac's might not get AS MANY viruses as PCs, but they freeze so damn much it doesnt really matter in the long run. AND after only three months of using a Mac I got a virus. I never want to use a Mac again -huggles my laptop PC-

  • @BloodShadowe That same story for me. But my new, fresh MacBook just froze after 1st turning on! Mac suck... Windows froze after something about year of use?

  • @t1czer ikr? Screw Macs, get a PC, you'll work much faster without the beachball of death popping up every 5 seconds. And it's not like we get the blue screen of death THAT often, ive never had one, and my computer is gonna be one year old soon, yay!

  • @BloodShadowe

do not get a compaq/hp. the OS modifications made for their lisence cause instabilities... my old dell XP machine has never gotten the blue screen of death but in the 2 years I have had my compaq windows 7 machine I have gotten it 4 times... not quite as bad as mac but it still sucks.

  • they got the wrong scripts.. the guy on the left is actually mac, not pc. sorry people, macs don't get viruses

  • @SuperJam369 then why are there anti virus programs for mac detecting trojan viruses

  • @SuperJam369

lol fail, Macs do get Viruses. Even more today then back in 2008.

  • mac hardly ever get viruses because most businesses use PC's which is why viruses are usually made.

  • @mitchisgott777 Exactly, just wait till more businesses start using macs, then more viruses will develop :p

  • @mitchisgott777 The myth continues.

  • @mitchisgott777 so true

  • @mitchisgott777 OR the viruses for PC are made by pissed off Mac-users, because PC has so much more programs working on it, than Mac :P

  • @mitchisgott777 acctually most important for nongamers is mac they r what they use for the presidents speeches so that they don't get hacked and lose them they used pc someone wrecked the thing so they started using mac and bam problems gone because theres only 1 virus for macs yet 1000000000000000s of 10000 of them on pc so :P

  • @iamcats9 Umm, there is no government official that uses a Mac outside of their own personal use. This is for 2 reasons. 1. the US Gov't doesn't use anything made in China, so that knocks out every Apple computer, and for a professional hacker, it's easier and takes less time to hack into OS X than XP, Vista, or 7. Apple really isn't safer, it's just less used

  • @wilhamlin apple is made in the us and canada and a few other places niot china you retard so shut the BEEP up you have no idea what you r saying cause macs have one virus that took 6 YEARS to be made so i think that thell go hack u noob pc users who r dumb and post random things that arn't even true see why do i even reply because your just llike the other noobs who vote for what gets sold more because they make less profits then they upgrade less then macs bam macs are now EVEN BETTER

  • @iamcats9 Hell you can look at ANY apple product and it'll say "designed in America, Made in China". Hell Jobs got in trouble a few years ago because the company he used (and Apple still uses today) treats its workers like slaves. Every DAY more viruses are coming out for Macs. and the rest of your post is pretty much just you talking out of your ass, and honestly, you are probably the most ignorant Mac user I've ever encountered.

  • @iamcats9 I own a macbook pro and it says it was assembled in china (I'm responding to you through it and I just flipped it over to confirm).

  • @wilhamlin "the US Gov't doesn't use anything made in China.." So, in other words they don't use anything made by Apple, Sony, HP, Acer, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Dell, ASUS, Lenovo, IBM, Fujitsu, Panasonic, NEC, etc..

  • @g0rsk13g4n9st4 well not really. Several of those aren't only made in China like Apple is. For instance, Dell have plants in China, Taiwan, the US among other countries. And about your comment to mitchisgott777, in what professional industries are Macs abundant in? Because the vast majority of high profile Mac using companies (Pixar) are switching from Macs in favor of something more advanced.

  • @wilhamlin "what professional industries are Macs abundant in?" How about: film, music production, graphic design, software engineering and advertising. The most ironic example being that "I'm a PC, and Windows 7 was my idea." ads were created on Mac Pros (using Final Cut and After Effects). Also, professional software suites on Mac OS blow away those on Windows. Most professionals use Final Cut, Motion, Aperture, Shake, Logic, etc.. because they have no equal.

  • @g0rsk13g4n9st4 im a gamer i have no interest in an overpriced piece of shit thats called a mac, true it costs alot to put together a gaming pc but atleast i can play any game i want, with mac that is not possible, personally i hope apple crashes and burns soon

  • @OW41N OK, I understand that you prefer a Windows machine because of gaming. Why you actually HATE Apple is still beyond me. I, personally, prefer Macs, I hated using Vista, but I don't hate Microsoft. I love my Xbox. My friend dislikes Macs, but he likes his iPhone, and he certainly doesn't hate Apple. Why hate a company because they cater to different audience?

  • @g0rsk13g4n9st4 Then again, I have a Windows PC, a MacBook, an iPod Touch, and a Windows Phone. Not overly keen on the iPod Touch (I got it as a multi-platform developer), much prefer Windows Phone OS to iOS. And I prefer Windows 7 to Mac OS X Lion. (my tablet will be a HTC Android tab, not an iPad). Truth is, Macs are overpriced. And Apple have the cheek to try and charge me £300 to fix a MANUFACTURING defect!

  • @mitchisgott777 In professional industries Macs are more abundant than Windows PCs. Also, there have never been any Mac OS X viruses in the wild, ever.

  • @g0rsk13g4n9st4

    lol yes there has been.

  • @daxster25 Then would you be so kind as to name just one OS X virus that has ever existed in the wild, ever. Developer created malware that is only tested in labs but is never released into the wild doesn't count. Truth is, most OS X malware that exists are trojans. You have to manually download, manually install it and manually run it in order for it to have ANY effect. They certainly don't auto-infect, don't replicate, and don't auto spread across computers as Windows viruses do.

  • @mitchisgott777 That's only because PC's are cheaper for businesses. They save a lot of money, but successful companies go the Mac route.

  • wow this sucks

  • Working on Windows sucks, but playing games on Windows is so much better than Mac. Mac's are so much better on working on. If your gonna make movies, edit pictures or just program/code stuff. But Mac's are expensive, but the money you pay are worth it. You got to agree with me on that. (Yes, I am a Mac user)

  • @TehXtremeGaming im a mac youser to and you know you can download windows 7 for mac and still have os x

  • @overlord848 Yeah, I know ;) I have that. Its like the ultimate machine.

  • @TehXtremeGaming lol yh mac can do everything a pc those bet better my little brother has a pc becose he want to play games bet new he only play games on my mac becose its way better

  • @TehXtremeGaming If YOUR gonna make movies

Stopped reading there. What are you; twelve?

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like a bunch of pissed off windows users around here. haters gonna hate. ima keep masturbate. no virus from teh pr0n! lol!

  • To all those stupid Mac users, it is possible to make virus for mac, eg the black hole RAT. Its just there's no point of making a virus for mac. Windows has more users, therefore has more virus. However this is what all the anti virus programs are for.

As macs get more popular, hackers will start to focus on them, The in trouble. As apple is arrogant they don't develop there security as well as windows.

  • Haha,Mac-Virus is here

  • HAHA MY PC GOT A VIRUS, SO I GOT A MAC!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

  • Windows is simply a more attractive target because more people use Windows PCs. If everyone used macs instead, macs would be just as virus infested as windows PCs. (Hence, no one makes linux viruses because only hard to hack geeks and harder to hack corporations use linux).

On the other hand, I guess Microsoft is quietly "forgetting" their little virus magnet they call windows XP...

  • finally a pc vs mac "commercial" that doesn't lie about the mac OS (it's not invincible, no OS is)

  • [PC is being pelted by balls]

Mac: Haha sucker! You got so many viruses I can see you turning to swiss cheese.

PC: I'm catching most of em.

Phisher: Hey, you don't get viruses so it's safe to give me your credit card info.

    Mac: Okay.

[Mac gets headshotted by a ball and collapses dead]

  • @conallsk81994

Yeah, but therefore Apple sabotaged Microsoft in the BS anti-trust lawsuit that forced Microsoft to give out the source in the FIRST PLACE.

  • People. It's just a computer. I mean really, are there not more important things to create mis-information about?

  • MacDefender - all of this mistification that there is no virus on MAC dick shot!!!

    gehehehehehe

  • @flamegrilled123 You realize how slow they are in that particular field?

MS and Linux distros get hotfixes deployed much faster (on the OS X there were reported cases where a safari vularnability got fixed only after 2 years!)

  • @mozdonny

    rs-plug FTW!

  • @lewisw943 They get viruses, bootkits, rootkits, a ridiculous amount of exploits on their browser and office suite, also a bunch of trojans.

Overall they have escelated authority exploits which they piss to deliver hotfixes fast enough.

  • Doubledeeder - u realize that mac osx has the most of 7% of market do u? Do some calculations then on how volnurable for viruses macs are.

  • Just SHUT UP PEOPLE! You own an Apple Product now shut the fuck up. Only Rich people have MAC. so get the fuck out of here bitches

  • @ERICKSKIE23 You forgot one important thing:

Only rich AND stupid people have a Mac.

  • @mozdonny so being rich is stupid? and Smart people are poor? you which one are you asshole

  • @ERICKSKIE23

he didnt say that. you are twisting his words. He said macs are a rip-off because they are overpriced, this is not new news, and nor is it calling rich people stupid and poor people smart.

  • @ERICKSKIE23 there's a widely used expression called 'more money than sense'. that's what he was getting at....

  • @mozdonny Obviously, for buyin' a Macintosh computer, you must be quite stupid, because it is a rip-off.

E G.: if you have the funds and you choose to pay the overpriced tag of the same shitty cristal water, just because it is labeled "DiamondZ", you are stupid.

  • the only people who get viruses on there computer are retarded people who download shit all day

  • @zenunh

Some guy oughta give you a driveby. I have a few scars.

  • pc viruses- over 4 million.

mac viruses know - just under 600,000

  • @doubledeeder Best Mac on the market - 22 grand

Best PC on the market - 8 grand.

    Your argument is invalid.

  • @lewisw943 bollocks

  • thats why i have sophos anti virus FOR MAC :D

  • thats such a fuckin lie, macs don't get viruses and with PC's, its so annoying getting regular updates and turning firewall on and off - its just another thing to worry about over your computer

  • @mrIamapig There aren't many viruses for Macs, but that doesn't mean they're invinsible to them. Atleast PC are getting updates for their programs to stop the viruses. That makes Macs exposed and you could get a virus without knowing it.

  • @mrIamapig "Turning firewall on and off". May I ask, why the fuck do you turn your firewall on and off? Is there some valid reason? In addition, only one AV is reccomended on a single computer due to multiple ones that scan may conflict. Therefore, only ONE AV that has to be updated ONCE every few MONTHS. Not much to worry about really.

  • @mrIamapig

what the hell are you talking about, why are you turning your firewall on and off rofl

  • Lol OSS code source 142)'hd/:34

  • @conallsk81994

Windows doesn't give out code either. It's why some people have issues creating device drivers. But you don't need the source code to make a virus. You just need an API/programming interface to create something that damages system files (Like delete NTLDR or mess up the system registry) You can mess up any OS with a program you write.

  • @conallsk81994 Go back to the retirement home grandpa, you have no idea what you are talking about on this subject.

  • there exists 17 viruses for mac

  • @DanielChristy19

I just helped my friend set up his brand new iMac last month, despite my warnings . The result? In the first 30 minutes, Safari locked up 5 times and we suffered 2 kernel panics.

Meanwhile, I've been running multiple installs of XP, Vista and 7 on two-dozen home and work computers without so much as a lockup. Nothing. Over a decade of flawless computer use.

I haven't been blessed. I just know what I'm doing, unlike a Mac user.

  • Do Macs even have Antivirus software when they are so sure that they cant get infected?

  • In 6 years of owning macs I've never had a virus on them. My PC on the other hand (yes I have both systems) has had a few slip passed my virus scanner.

  • this is very wrong, mac is hard to get virus and people should know that. probably because only few people are using it than PC.

  • PCs get more viruses then macs so if anything they both should have been hit with those black balls

  • @EmoticonMayhem added to that, mac also get regular updates...

  • bull shit mac RULZ

  • @deurmadd yep if u hate your money.

  • And in the meantime, Mac has been holding a virus in his hands for a long time.

  • pc fucking sucks and always gets viruses and as for mac idk, haven't used it

  • @meateatingvegans stop using abacus bro it's 2010

  • @meateatingvegans don't download pr0n and screen savers and other suspicious shit, and you wont get viruses

  • like i always say, macs are for the dummies. i mean, really? macs virus free? but then again, only the dumb will buy that.

  • OMG! The Mac guy looks like Richard Stallman. I can't believe I didn't notice it before.

  • I use a anti virus on my mac. And i dont buy a pc notebook becuse it dont have a solid form factor. (And almost avery one is ugly)

  • lolz, is so true, this is why also mac has antyvisuses :P

  • soon when windows simply... stops and combines with apple... apple will have more virusses then earths population... even if earth hits a total population of around 500 billion organismsss (spellingfail =3)

  • HAHAHA SO UNTRUE

  • Comment removed

  • Truth hurts i know xD

  • As long as you dont dual boot or have windows on your Mac Macs wont get viruses.

Macs are very cool and special ,the reason why they dont get viruses is because they are not made for games and many not needed apps that attract people who hate others and love the "App" that windows have and macs dont but this does not means mac sucks it Macs have a better computer with more power and memory GHz MHz RAM RPM and cost less in the premium isle of all computers

  • @Jedilosith im sorry your in denial about your mac and viuses. look up renrpo. its a virus coded FOR mac osx. the only reason macs dont get viruses as easly is thay are not as common as the windows oses.

  • @Jedilosith Are you retarded? The reasons Macs don't get viruses is because no one bothers to make viruses for Macs. Why? Because the majority of the people who use Macs don't have any useful information for virus developers to expose.

  • @mattis2hott jedilosith is a retard but of course mac users have useful information. macs are expensive and are designed for the technologically challenged. that means the person is rich and is an easy target to make money off of.

mac's unpopularity is a FACTOR of less viruses, but all unix based OSes are designed in a very stable and secure manner where you can't just simply hack in it and do whatever you want if you don't have the password to root. theres a lot of depth to it

  • @schmidtbag Strange backhanded compliment. Expensive compared to what, low-end cheaply-made plastic PCs like Dells? They are designed for average non-techy people who just want to get things done, to be sure, though a lot of techy people use them too, especially Unix people. Me, I'm not rich; I live week-by-week, but don't regret getting a Mac when I could afford it. They are popular with creatives of all kinds, and in academia, none of which are necessarily "rich".

  • @mattis2hott They have tried for most of the 10 years OSX has been out, and a few Trojans have seen moderate success, mostly things like fake video plugins for porn sites etc, none widespread. Macs are an increasingly lucrative target, with evidence of an orchestrated attempt by organised crime to create Mac versions of their Windows trojans with a fairly high degree of sophistication. Mac users have the same valuable info as any other user, namely identity, bank details, etc.

  • @mattis2hott Ya'll right !!!

  • @mattis2hott The reason why Macs don't get viruses is because they're UNIX based. Anyone could infest the whole world by writing a virus for Linux or BSD (and Mac OS X is based on BSD), since almost every internet server runs Linux/BSD/unix. they just can't do it because they're done better.

windows is a pile of shit, face it.

  • @mat5813 Who the fuck cares if its based on UNIX. First they said that ''Macs don't get a viruses'' BULLSHIT! Now, look at the rogues, just for mac... Mac Defender, Mac Protector... Mac Defender did need a Password to install, Mac Protector doesn't anymore. Do you now realize that even if they say that ''Yeah of course, Mac needs password to do that shit and that shit'', but thats a lie. Mac's files are just full of a fucking coding, just like in a Windows. FACE IT!

  • @puupaakissa Mac OS X is based on BSD and OpenBSD has been remotely hacked only 2 times in its history. you need a password because the default account doesnt have root privileges, you're just an admin, that's why no fucking virus could ever touch the kernel.

"i think our team lost sight of what bug-free and security means [...] i would buy a Mac today if i wasnt working at microsoft [...] Apple did not lose their way"

Jim Allchin, Microsoft, President of Platform and Services Division

  • @mat5813 Mac OS X is a far cry from BSD. Apple have lost their way. They have gone the same route as windows. Because they want some of the huge market that windows has/had. By trying to make their software easy to use for novices like windows. Users don't need any knowledge of any terminal commands. By doing this you open your system to attacks, as your user base is untrained. OSX has been under attack and becomes more of a target the more it grows.

  • @rebelartwork What a pile of bullshits. Like a BSD kernel should be less secure just because the average unix of Mac OS X doesnt know what the terminal is or because they made the GUI simpler.

You're logged in as an admin and not as root by default and at the same time of course you can gain root privileges using the terminal.

i'm sorry, but this is one of the dumbest excuses i've heard in my entire life.

  • @puupaakissa if i was you i would delete this comment, when you'll get a job in the IT industry it will be very embarrassing to explain why you believed that any BSD/XNU system could ever be as prone to viruses as Windows.

"LH (Longhorn) is a pig and I don’t see any solution to this problem. If we are to rise to the challenge of Linux and Apple, we need to start taking the lessons of “scenario, simple, fast” to heart."

    Jim allchin again

  • @mattis2hott wrong why people don't make virus for mac is that u need to press yes on like 2 boxes and write ur password before even getting the virus u need to be retarded to get one

  • @mattis2hott So you'r saying that everyone who is something is on windows?

  • @mattis2hott Macs get viruses dumb ass.

  • @mattis2hott thank you

  • This video is lying. Macs are less susceptible to getting viruses unless you have Windows on your machine. You just have to watch what your doing on email and the internet and get antivirus updates.

  • bull shit man just bull shit

  • the MAC have a viruses so the videos who say pc's are the only with viruses are fake

  • LISTEN macs dont have "Viruses" but they do have a thing called ram clutter= slower or currupt files making u think its a virus

  • @BlackDog1997, Do you even know how any OS runs? Malware, Spyware and Adware are all bad coding with bad intent torwards you. ANY OS can get Malware, Spyware and Adware. This video should be opposite really because Macs dont get hardly as much as PCs. And Unix based system like Ubuntu and Linux get even less! But if you know how to create coding for an OS you can also create bad coding for it too.

  • @BlackDog1997 yes they do there is on called renepo. google it

  • Haven't had a virus in years on my PC because I'm not a moron. Indy kids/College kids will follow the crowd wherever it takes them. GL in the corporate world where 99% of the computers you'll be working on are PC.

  • ahahh the sweet truth

  • OK, you pulled that one out of your ass.

I've been using Macs for over 5 years now and have never had a virus.

If you use a Windows machine you will eventually get a virus, probably many viruses. Notice that I say "Windows machine" because I still have respect for Linux PCs, but Windows = sh!t.

  • @QuantumAnomaly

Macs can get viruses, this is a fact. Just because YOU have never had a Virus, doesn't mean this fact is void. It just means you're NOT an idiot. Just like with a PC, it all really depends on the operator. Well, there are hackers too. They can do worse shit yet. Like the pwn2own contest, where, for 3 years straight, Macs were always the first to get hacked. In under two minutes. Lol...I just thought I'd take away some of that false security you have. You're welcome.

  • right... lame

  • When I first got my Vista PC, it got a virus that first month just from visiting regular internet sites that my baby niece like - Nickelodeon, Disney and Cartoon Network.

The internet is ONE BIG VIRUS to a PC.

  • @metaphyiscal

Ummm....you sure you didn't just download anything like some limewire music, or torrent something, or possibly activate a non windows authorized plug-in? It seems to me that a website like Nickelodeon, Disney, or CN doesn't just GIVE you a virus. Usually, you either have to be hacked or download something. Lol. Unless your nice downloaded something. But then, that would just be funny. Also, an Anti-virus *coughAVASTcough* helps.

  • @AndrewDeLong

I got a Mac Book for my niece to use and its working real well.

I haven't purchased an anti-virus for it at all.

Sadly for my Vista, I'm on anti-virus number 5 (the fifth one).

At little over $30 a pop, this virus / anti-virus BULL SHIT is starting to get out of control.

One of those viruses crashed my WiFi function and now the Vista needs to be plugged in.

I'm not buying any more anti-viruses.

(I wonder if Bill Gates and HP will give me my money back)

  • @metaphyiscal

Well first off, you are running Vista. That's problem #1. #2 is that you are probably buying shit A.V's. Just go with a combo of Malwarebytes and Avast (both free). Just remember to update (manually) the registry's in both on a weekly (or at least biweekly) basis, and you should be fine. As for the OS you have, upgrade to Win 7, and you should be fine.

  • @AndrewDeLong, Actually Avast isnt as good as some people say it is. If a trogan attaches to a critical file and you press delete your computer is screwed. Plus being as Avast is free and not many people buy it one has to wonder how good there virus definitions are?

  • @CaptainArkamond

I beg to differ. I have had nothing but perfect experiences with Avast, whereas Norton 360 has done many things to slow my comp down, and it doesn't always catch everything either. The definitions for Avast are good so long as you manually update them at least once a week. A small effort considering it's free.

  • dont care but zone alarm FTW better than norton or windows firewall/security center and shure as hell than the shitty updates pc and mac have by far just not as cheap is all
