  • I will usually practice a skill or two that compels me at the moment first in a workout. If it is not so technical, I will practice more after the workout. I then do some power movements, like snatch or clean and jerk with various implements. Then some strength work like squats, deads or presses. do a few sets of abs and low back like hypers and leg raises. And might finish it off with some sprints or sled work. I change routines every 4-8 weeks. I vary my intensity regularly.

  • nah, that doesn't sound gay at all, not that there's anything wrong with that! But just eat a paleo diet with tweaked zone proportions (i up my protein and fat, and cut back on my carbs) and lift heavy with perfect form and do short metcons frequently. Lots of pushes, pulls, squats, deads, lunges, etc
