  • Looks like an awesome place to live, even cooler than the Texas landscape I'm used to.

  • "this is why people take drugs, is they are trying to get high" you don't say

  • "you try to pull it out, it goes in deeper"

    *queue porn guitar riff*

  • i have those in my front yard i know how it fells

  • People shouldn't touch the fruit unless you plan on leaving the seeds on the ground when your done eating it. The cactus is endangered sometimes.

  • Thanks, it was so informative.

  • i want to see a cactus wren!!

  • ow

  • this is an awesome video!!!

  • wow.. what a waste of time.. this dude's got it totally wrong.

  • i dont like him hurting the cacti at 1:44 ):P

  • really nice....we have so many cactus here in sweden. It is growing everywhere ...

  • The Saguaro Cactus, found in South-western United States does not grow branches until it is 75 years old.

  • My comment didn't show up for some reason. I love your work. Didn't meant to sound critical. :-(

  • I smiled all the way through the viewing of this (ouch though, on Mike being a victim). Magical & Fun!! Great Video Mike & David!! You RAWK!!

  • PLEASE let us us know about the diabetes plant. I have hypoglycemia, and I keep it under control through diet, but if I can get rid of it entirely by doing it naturally, I will!

  • @Skeeter66 Watch the video Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days (with a Raw Living Plant Foods Diet) [no cooked foods] & look up Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center and Gabriel Cousens, specializing in diabetes & hypoglycemia.

His Center happens to be in Patagonia, Arizona too. Mike Adams has interviewed one of the patients who was cured there, amazing.

  • Mike you should have at least ate one in the video so we know its good by reading your facial expression.

You and David should offer a paid vacation field trip for picking the saguaro fruit for some of us with room and board, Mike! Get some of us educated with the trip.

  • i wanna hang out with those guys

  • isn't it illegal to mess with those cactus?

  • Awesome video!

  • these fruits make an excellent MARGARITA.

  • It would be nice to be able to buy this fruit online.

  • very cool~~~ I love it! I would love to be a part of your community!

  • AWESOME video! Looks fun. I hope I can try it one day. I have a QUESTION: David mentioned a cactus that is anti-cancer/tumor but didn't give a name for it...what is it called?!? THANKS for sharing this!

  • You All Give Me Hope For The World To Survive. TY Blessings.

  • Having lived in Arizona for a short time I learned to harvest the fruit from the prickly pear and also ate the cactus itself. Next rime I visit I will have to try the fruit from the Saguaro. Thanks for the video!

  • I know the flesh of the Saguaro is psychedelic, but what about the fruit?

  • @gregpetre: The fruit is not.

  • @TheHealthRanger Did you get nice tripp on Saguaro ,Mike? ;-)

  • @gregpetre

No part of the Saguaro is psychedelic. Psychedelic kinds are Peyote and San Pedro.

  • @azurescens420 Actually not true, they have several active alkaloids.

  • Tell us more about the tea/water for diabetes and the plant Mr. Wolfe mentioned. thanks!

  • Well boys what does it taste like ???

  • Mike Adams, as a fellow Tucsonian, you should know to carry a comb in your pocket to flip the cholla off of you! You are one brave dude! I'd never volunteer to do that after having come in contact with several cholla in my life.

  • cool... but don't the cactuses kinda want to keep some of their fruit babies for themselves? is there any chance of overharvesting? not that i think alot of people would want to run out into the desert to do this but if they did...

  • cool, thanks

  • Why in earth would you so willingly volunteer to be stuck with a cactus barb that contains toxins?

  • sweeeeeet!

  • Fascinating video. Very educational and entertaining too, thank you.

  • lmao... tells Mike about the toxin AFTER he pulls out the barbs XD

  • very cool!
