Hah, dont have much time but had to respond to that. First, you can turn everything off and it works like it did originaly so nothing is ruined. Second, I didn't make any music in this, first time it was turned on and tested. Third, its a casiotone mt220, so what do you mean by a good retro synth? Tell it to the dumpster I found it in. You miss the point of the whole circuit bending thing I guess. Sweet nickname by the way, I'll try to get your mom to scream it next time I'm elbow deep in her.
You fuckin idiots ruin a perfectly good retro synth by circuit bending it. I did't hear 2 seconds of decent music in this whole video. Why don't you try brain surgery on each other instead.
Man, this thing is annoying. I bought it off some drunk kid who does open mic at the bar down the street from where I live. He wanted $20 but I talked him down to $4 (really). I think that it was worth it. I sold my SK-1, PT-10, and PT-30 so it was nice to have a new keyboard to fuck around with. I have spent a while trying to find bend points but really to no avail. Ah well. It's still worth $4
i own casiotone mt-220, im trying to bend, no luck so far. maybe i need to find a diff keyboard. i thought i was the only one who still owned of these. yea! lemme know if u come across some kewl sounds.
Yeah, I realy didn't find many bends in it. I seriously spent like a week just searching for a few hours a night. I bent it because I happened to have one. There may be a few more bends to find but I gave up on it. Its got 5 toggle switches on the left of the keys and one metal bar with a toggle disconnect. The bar seems to do diffrent things depending on how hard you touch it. If your about to give up I'll try to get a pic of the internals for you.
about to give up here as well. found a couple things but none that are any good. if you can send the pics to chaseslabaugh[at]gmail[dot]com :) thanks!
I still have one of these. It still works really good too. It was in the back of my sister's closet. She gave it to me and I cleaned it up. I wonder how much I can get for it on ebay ;-).
So basically you're just "DJ'ing" on a piano right ? What's the point ? I would steal your MT 220 to repair mine...

Why do you put this up if it is painfully boring? I fully agree, extremely boring and totally pointless.

I really liked the way drum sounds turns really heavy though. Some other sounds sounded useful musically too so it's not all that boring.
