Personally I'd like to also see Refia and Ingus (FF3), Tellah, Rydia, and Edge (FF4), Locke (FF6), Cid and Reno (FF7), Vivi, Amarant, and Black Waltz (FFIX), Auron and Rikku (FFX), Penelo (FFXII) if they make a new Sequel. I'm terribly disappointed in Kain's design in Dissidia Duodecim, I never thought Kain should have long hair more like Cloud Strife or even shorter like Cid Highwind. I'm not a fan of Yang as a character but he makes up for it in battle.

Here are the characters that need to be added. Sabin or Locke from VI, Cid from VII (best character in VII), Vivi from IX, Auron or Yuna from X, Balthier from XII (WHY DID THEY ADD VAAN T_T) and yeah that's mostly it. I prefer my main series honestly so I don't think they need to add any spinoff people. and Zack will never be in the game except for an alternate costume for Cloud. Zack and Cloud are the same character. Although having Ramza in there wouldn't be bad at all.

I can completely agree with some of these characters, and at the same time, can completely disagree. I know you posted before a lot of the character announcements and etc., but look at it this way. Wouldn't some of these have to similar of moves? Or fighting styles? Or, have to broad, or to general a character to begin with? IMO, only about half of these would be thought of at SE, and even less would be considered to be put in. Genesis was one of the best choices though.
Hm. I don't think they'll put Red Mage because the W.O.L is supposed to be all the good characters from the first game in one, but the idea is pretty good. Faris and Gilgamesh are also good ideas, but I'd rather have Galluf instead of Faris. And for FF6 I really wish they could put Edgar, Sabin, Cyan or Shadow (at least one of those four). I'm almost sure they'll put Vincent because he is pretty popular. And Cid Reines wasn't REALLY a bad guy, so he wouldn't fight for Chaos.

Uhhhh, they wouldn't add anything that you posted that wasn't in a main Final Fantasy game. Also, they already said it's Tifa for VII. That was announced a long while ago. And Lightning for XIII. As well as Kain in IV. They wouldn't put in a tactics character either since it's a spin-off and not part of the main series, which is what the Dissidia cast are. Also, Wtf, Khimari? Really? What purpose would he posses? None. He made almost no impact in X. They would more than likely pick Yuna.
Look at games like Ergheiz and Onimusha Blade Warriors; they added non-canon characters just for the fun of it. Those characters would be like "special guest" characters for Duodecim that I think would a variety of fighting styles to the game.
But since they announced in the middle of last month that they won't include non-canon characters, I already forgotten about those characters. You guys act like I don't stay updated. Look at when this video was uploaded. Read the description!

Why the hell would they add non-final fantasy characters to a game that is made to celebrate the anniversary of final fantasy? And as for reading the description, I'm pretty sure we all did, but it's still common sense that a final fantasy anniversary game is going to stick with final fantasy games. Especially when the title is Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

@Zeohawk on shonen jump magazine scans and FFwikia... I wouldn't say unexpected though. Laguna is quite popular and he has a strong connection to the main character. after all, Laguna is Squall's father...

@Twilitparadox Uhhh... what? I don't see anything wrong with Snow. He seems okay but there are already 5 characters confirmed in Cosmos' side, they need more villains in Duodecim.

Here are the characters that need to be added. Sabin or Locke from VI, Cid from VII (best character in VII), Vivi from IX, Auron or Yuna from X, Balthier from XII (WHY DID THEY ADD VAAN T_T) and yeah that's mostly it. I prefer my main series honestly so I don't think they need to add any spinoff people. and Zack will never be in the game except for an alternate costume for Cloud. Zack and Cloud are the same character. Although having Ramza in there wouldn't be bad at all.

Vaan, Lightning, Tifa, and Kain have been announced. There is footage of Tifa on youtube, and battle footage of Lightning and Kain.
What I wanted was Basch, not Vaan, but oh well. Also between Kimahri and Auron for FFX it's hard to choose but I suppose I'd have to say I always wanted Auron in Dissidia.

@scottcat224 It's not like we expect these wishlist characters to be put in. I loved the combat system in KH:BBS and i think it would do well in a dissidia environment. also my wishlist is
IV: Edge/Rydia
V: Gilgamesh
VI: Locke
VIII: Seifer
X: Auron, Seymour
XIII: Cid Raines (because bart is a douche)

I can completely agree with some of these characters, and at the same time, can completely disagree. I know you posted before a lot of the character announcements and etc., but look at it this way. Wouldn't some of these have to similar of moves? Or fighting styles? Or, have to broad, or to general a character to begin with? IMO, only about half of these would be thought of at SE, and even less would be considered to be put in. Genesis was one of the best choices though.

Hm. I don't think they'll put Red Mage because the W.O.L is supposed to be all the good characters from the first game in one, but the idea is pretty good. Faris and Gilgamesh are also good ideas, but I'd rather have Galluf instead of Faris. And for FF6 I really wish they could put Edgar, Sabin, Cyan or Shadow (at least one of those four). I'm almost sure they'll put Vincent because he is pretty popular. And Cid Reines wasn't REALLY a bad guy, so he wouldn't fight for Chaos.

I think Zack from FF7 and/or Sephiroth(he was really nice as a good guy in crisis core) the bad guys could be Loz, Kadaj and Yazoo even though they only made the movie and Tifa is a deffo? God, i hate it already!
I would love to see Yuna, Riku and Paine cause they are amazing and a bad guy? its gotta be Seymour! XD

Uhhhh, they wouldn't add anything that you posted that wasn't in a main Final Fantasy game. Also, they already said it's Tifa for VII. That was announced a long while ago. And Lightning for XIII. As well as Kain in IV. They wouldn't put in a tactics character either since it's a spin-off and not part of the main series, which is what the Dissidia cast are. Also, Wtf, Khimari? Really? What purpose would he posses? None. He made almost no impact in X. They would more than likely pick Yuna.

Look at games like Ergheiz and Onimusha Blade Warriors; they added non-canon characters just for the fun of it. Those characters would be like "special guest" characters for Duodecim that I think would a variety of fighting styles to the game.
But since they announced in the middle of last month that they won't include non-canon characters, I already forgotten about those characters. You guys act like I don't stay updated. Look at when this video was uploaded. Read the description!

@Zeohawk Those were made by different companies. Those were not a case such as Dissidia where it's a final fantasy anniversary series. Why the hell would they add non-final fantasy characters to a game that is made to celebrate the anniversary of final fantasy? And as for reading the description, I'm pretty sure we all did, but it's still common sense that a final fantasy anniversary game is going to stick with final fantasy games. Especially when the title is Dissidia: Final Fantasy.
