When I first heard this song I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics but one day I was going through one of life's hardships and really listened to it again. It hit home for me that day because I needed to make a decision bout something and realized that no matter what we do in life, ultimately it starts with ourselves. I thought it was remarkable how they came up with such a strong message about a man on a tight rope and connected them two to teach us about taking risks to achieve our goals.
