As PT Barnum said you can fool some of the people all of the time.
He could have gone one further and said that they will usually be republicans.
These people have not read a shred of history; if they knew about Ludlow, Joe Hill, Saccho and vanzetti, Spokane free speech battle, everett massaccre, and 1913 massacre they would not be so anti-union.
If you like the weekend, overtime pay, statutory holidays, paid vacations or safe working conditions you can thank the selfishness of unions.

@barbtube01 That is a high estimate too. All other news source are reporting 1 to 2 thousand pro-walker supporters. Walker was not even there... Probably out of state raising money. He knows that it is futile to try to raise money or volunteers here in the state.
@GodCountryCorps1 What good work would that be? Elimating the Earned Income and Homestead Tax credits? Increasing the debt-to-revenue ratio? Implementing massive corporate taxcuts to pay off his campaign contributors? Disenfranchising union laborers? Attacking public educators? Driving up unemployment? Dividing our state in two? Look man, I'm an independent but this dummy has done nothing BUT fuck this state up. Get in touch with reality.

I am so very happy to see Walker supporters speak out and show support. He is a great governor who is accomplishing much of what he campaigned to do. Finally, someone who has enough guts to stick to his word. Democrats, you are recalling the wrong people....you need to recall all of the people who voted for Walker...apparently!
um, i'm here because scott walker told us he lowered taxes (not true) property taxes have risen. um, it's all about unions wanting power (again, not true) it's about walker trying to take from public employees who have already made concessions more so then the private sector!
look up the maciverinstitute and see who it's funded by!
How do you leftists manage to so consistently rape logic with your statements?
Yes, walker is "TAKING" something from the public unions. But it's something that's not rightfully theirs!
NO ONE has a "right" to bilk taxpayers with corrupt money-laundering schemes---as public sector unions have done for generations. And we know that you WOULD do it again if given the chance! That's why public sector unions must be outlawed.
@UncleIrv i didn't bilk anyone out of anything! i worked for 25 years to get what i had and walker bilked it from me! when i was hired, i looked at the benefits package offered and that's why i took the job! but now it's been yanked! not by my employer, but by our dictator governor! this is why unions were created! not suprised by your comment though. you are funded by the koch brothers who are robbing the people of wisconsin!
Kiss my ass with your "funded by the Koch Brothers" thing. I never received a check from anybody!
What alternate reality do you live in? For generations your "benefits" have outrageously exceeded anything received by workers in the private sector.
Why? Because there is no ADVERSARIAL relationship between you and who writes your check. Your union elects crooked politicians, and they approve higher "benefits." It used to be called BRIBERY.
Yeah, just go ahead and keep drinking that Kool-Aid. I already know you people are not capable of being honest or thinking logically, so it doesn't bother me.
@UncleIrv harsh words coming from the silent moral majority! fact, you posted this video! fact, the maciver institute is funded by the koch brothers! fact, so is scott walker! fact, scott walker is also funded by the ceo of aig who we the taxpayers just bailed out, but he still collected his multi million bonus! and if the koch brothers didn't send you a check, that just means that your not important to them! and yet you cater to them. fool!
Fact #!: Your employer honored EVERY IOTA of your contract for the full length of its term. The changes take place AFTER the existing contract. Was the term of your contract LIFE? Then shut up.
Fact #: No one has a constitutional right to a job. After your contract expires, your employer has a RIGHT to decide under what terms he will retain you. If you don't like it, find another job.
@UncleIrv excuse me! but i WORK THE HOURS THAT I'M PAID FOR! SO YES YOU DO NEED TO PAY ME! AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I WAS WORKING WITHOUT A CONTRACT FOR ALMOST A YEAR WHILE MY EMPLOYER WAITED OUT THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION.. IF YOU THINK THE GRASS IS SO GREEN ON MY SIDE OF THE FENCE, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO FIND A DIFFERENT JOB! I HAVE EARNED MY PLACE WHERE I AM. by the way, once again, nice example of how the moral right wingers use the lords name in vain! hypocyte!
I never said anything even close to inferring you shouldn't get paid for the hours you work. You've gotten paid for every hour you worked. What the hell is your problem?
I never said "the grass was greener" on your side. But in fact, IT IS: Statistics prove that the average pay of public sector workers is TWICE the average pay of private sector workers.
Nice scam you got there, raising your wages and bennies above fair market value through THUGGERY.
@UncleIrv A union worker's wage and benefits are a "corrupt money-laundering scheme?! Sounds like UnclePerv's been drinking some of that afore mentioned KoolAid on those veteran funded vacations to Hawaii with his boysfriends. "Bilking tax payers". Your silly.
The unions are paid organizers who bus in outsiders to pump up the local representation to fool people with. These liars always like to claim that people opposed to them are the wealthy, the fact is that the truth is just the opposite. It is the wealthy unions against the poor tax payer who wants to get the union off of his back and out of wallet.

He has turned around this state and stood up to the union demands for more power and money for the Democrats. Government workers and teachers a far better off now. They have a choice to be unionized or not and can shop their health benefits. Why are they so mad that they have to kick in a small amount of money for their pension and health benefits lick everybody else has to. Besides how many people do you know get a pension from their employer and a cadillac health care.
Cog, those busses were from the park and ride 3 miles away. There was very little parking available in the area (other than side streets and shopping centers).

@imaqtpiefromcf Well I was there and I know that 99.9% of the people were not paid. Petitioners for the recall were not paid, all 30,000 of them. Organizers are often paid on both sides. Those running recall offices were paid due to the amount of work needing to be done, and you can be assured that the organizers of the pro-walker rally were paid, as they should be. I am also sure that several people volunteered as well. You are an uninformed person.
@Jmarsfan28 Me Too, that is why I was not able to attend several rallies, work needs to be done. But we do what we can right? Volunteer on our days off etc.
@islandboundyaya might as well grow horns! cause your standing with the devil in my opinion! good people don't steal what others have worked for! but you don't want to pay a few more bucks a year on your taxes so you take $4,000 a year from me!

@judeseamus
No, I did not say "a union worker's wages" were a corrupt money-laundering scheme.
The scheme is as follows:
(1) Unions give big contributions to Democrat politicians who (wink, wink) "support the union cause."
(2) Those politicians then BECOME THE EMPLOYER of the union workers and INCREASE THEIR COMPENSATION USING TAX DOLLARS.
(3) Union dues--TAKEN FROM THIS TAX MONEY--then get circulated back to Democrat politicians who (wink, wink) "support the union cause."
