@jennyrules11, for that sort of money, you'd be better off getting a paragliding lesson - that way you get a 30min flight..... I paid 250 for my kite, and it's not superb for airtime i must admit..
lawl i got a question where do u kno any web site taht sells a good land kite that i could of buy bc i had one but it's the time for new one and can't find any websites
what is the difference between 4 line handles and 4 line control bar? I read that there is more control with the handles but i see a lot of riders using the bar. and whats a good start kite i like the Flexifoil Sting and Flexifoil Rage.
control bar is harder to get used to but gives a simpler setup-tangle free- and is awsoeme for jump hangtime. Flexifoil sting and rage are similair but it depends on your size and the size of kite. Rage pull more but i started with sting. Its really more how much you are willing to spend
well alot of the riders tht u see landboarding will often use depowerable kites thats why they are using a bar. But the flexifoil sting and the flexifoil rage are great kites i had a flexifoil sting fo my first kite but didnt find it was anywhere near powerful enough for me and i weigh 11.5 stone. Hope tht helped
Landboarders usually use a bar so they can do grabs and spins. With a bar you can just spin the bar the opposite way to untangle your lines after spinning. Both are good kites to start on but if your planning on getting into landboarding you should start with a bar.
great! now try those tricks on a snowboard or even better a skateboard

jennyrules11 2 years ago
@jennyrules11 a second hand Flexifoil Blade will do the trick. But you're not hooked in so it's harder work... but easier to learn

how big a kite for 5-10 mps wind would be reccomended, and is this a safe way of learning to be mobile while flying a kite?

I have a HQ APEX 2 that works well at those wind speeds.

Well you see the riders with the bar because they don't need to control it as much as people as rubbish as me! LOL

what if the wind's REALLY strong and u aren't heavy enough to weigh it down again? i'd bring scissors. lol

arcs give you more lift less pull right?
aplauchegmail 3 years ago
What meter kite was this with?
armesy182 3 years ago
a 13m venom
but if your a beginner dont get something this size. Do your research, as this is an arc, so less power.

Expensive boards.. Minimum 300 investment on a board, another 300 for a decebnt used kite.
JoeVSvolcano 4 years ago
or 150 for a new board, and 250 for a complete used kite. :D
