agentjr konami hasn't dropped off the face of the earth, they are corporate whores now. they were gonna release a silent hil hd collection (hd remakes of sh2 and 3) with new voices. they are not going to have new voice actors for silent hill 2 but not sure about 3. silent hill doesn't need an hd remake (except for the first one) because the pc versions can run in 1080p

thanks for uploading this game,i've always been a fan of SH,Parasite Eve is the only other game that i know of that had that creepy feel to it,I hope you do SH5 and the remake.I've sat down and watched all4 of your SH LPS from part one of this to the last video of silent hill 4,it truly is a great series.

@GracefullyExpensiveK If you're referring to Centralia, the town the movie used as the basis for the look of Silent Hill, I wouldn't go near it unless you enjoy enhaling the toxic fumes that come up from the ground due to the coal fires. Without a respirator you'd probably die fairly quickly :P

Silent Hill 1 & 2 are my favorite ones in the series. 3 & 4 were okay. Homecoming would've been alright if they didn't get desperate and yank stuff from SH2 and the movie.. let's not forget that sad attempt at making it an action game.

A friend many years ago gave me his copy of Silent Hill because it was too frightening for him. I tried playing it and got as far as the school, which was just a little too much for me at the time, seeing as I was about nine. It took me four years to work up the nerve to return to it, and Silent Hill has since become my favorite game series. I still have that copy of the game, it still works, and I still play it when I need a dose of great gaming medicine.

@itiztony Well SH1 was scarier due to it having the worst flashlight, and SH3 had more vivid imagery and shock scares. SH2....Well it wasn't that scary, just because of it not having the best monster arrangement. Patients, Mannequins, Nurses, Mandarin (for all of one or two areas)....cockroaches, and...yeah. The non-boss lineup pales to SH3 and SH1.

I personally prefer SH1 on the combat. Something about the SH3 shotgun rubs me the wrong way, and you can easily fight and run in SH2.

Its not that new games suck its just that older games tend to be better. This is because now they focus on visually scaring you as opposed to scaring you through the storyline like these games did. Also for the older generations these games have a quality of nostalgia.
