Witnesses don't alert the police because they don't want to bring 'reproach on Jehovah's Organization'. They also distrust police and everything outside of their organization. They keep everything hush hush, the atmosphere is tense and you really can't trust anyone. I'm so glad I realized it was all a lie.

With subheadings like "Repressed Memories" (their quotes, not mine) and Did it really happen? they are really discouraging victims from coming forward. First issue about JWs is the tremendous sexual shame their group promotes. Sex is dirty, sexuality is dirty, hidden, kept out of view except wonderful stories like Phineas (read it) or the crimes and punishments of the Old Testament. So this is a tremendous screen to prevent dealing healthfully with sexuality, gender, sexual interest or sexual expression. Behind that screen, the molestors can lurk and play and keep secrets.

Alot of molestation issues within this organization are covered up between family and elders. I know this on a very personal level! I told my JW mother of my abuse and it went on deaf ears. #1 they don't want to bring reproach to the organization (or as they would say "Jehovah's name") and #2 they believe that Jehovah will fix everything in 'armeggedon'.....sorry but 'paradise' didn't come fast enough to help ME!

What criminals do you know of that takes two witnesses along with them when they commit a crime? the two witness rule is meant that two witnesss should be there to witness what the person says when they are complaining...just like two policemen are there when a complaint is given, but witnesses use and abus and twist the scriptures.

For 29 years I was a part of this organization. For the first time I feel free and alive. I could relate countless stories of the children as well as adults that will be scared. I would love for the word to be spread and for people whom I love that are still trapped to escape the brain washing. I am thankful for the Silent Lambs Group and bless them in their effort to unmask the organization. All things happen for a reason

When i was in a Private School in Denmark, there was a "Kingdom Hall" just next to the school.

Every day, when we waited for the bus, the always asked us if we wanted to "look inside" their "house" (they didn´t want to use the word "church" to us children i think)

But my farther always warns me against people who say the have "the truth"...

ummm, the Watchtower spokesman is wrong! I was told if I went to the police that there would be a judical meeting and action taken. The elder said, he knew the person (attacker) his whole life, and did not know me at all. So he believed at 19 year old over a 5 & 3 year old.

There was a witness that lied about me (it was of no consequence nothing of import) however I informed my mother that the person was not telling the truth and my mother told me that they are a JW so she will believe them over me..I am the liar, since I am not a JW anymore..How twisted is their reasoning..They are all liars or they are attributing to the futhering of the lies told there..Very Sad
