Congratulations to animal rights activists in Ireland and UK, the farmed minks that were set free by activists are now breeding in great numbers and are destroying our native species of fauna. Some species are likely to go extinct such as the water vole which has seen a 95% decrease in numbers because of predation by minks. Congratulations once again on your well thought out plan to open pandoras box. Minks are farmed so that another species of animal called homo sapiens can survive. get real !

Maybe it 's my eyes, but I had a difficult time seeing what was happening. The person who took this video should have had better lightning and different camera angle. We don't see much past the guy's backside! Where are the mink going after they are put into the machine?

@majorferret Those minks necks are not being dislocated. Why in the world would they do that? They want to keep the pelt in mint condition. If they were to do such a thing like that it could ruin their pelt and they would lose profit on it. And no the mink have no idea what is going on. Synthetic fur is easier to take care of, less allergenic, cheaper, more humane and just as warm and stylish as the real fur.

Stop buying fur! Cutting off the money is the only way to stop this senseless killing.

I love my children dearly and when it comes to feeding them and caring for them and there are no other jobs in my area what else am I supposed to do.? And what most people don't even realize is that a mink does more then produce a fur coat. Do wear perfume cologne? Lipsol? Well I hope not. Because that would mean that some senseless killing would have had to take place.

@grizz7788 I actually do not wear perfume and buy fragrance free products because perfumes and especially colognes give me headaches (other than natural lavender, and other flowers which agree with me.) And I am not able to wear fur or wool because it makes me itchy for some reason.

It is heartbreaking if a family gets into financial trouble. I value a human life over an animal life. I hope there is an easier  more humane way so families don't have to starve or lose their jobs.

There are so many alternatives to fur, such as Corduroy, Cotton and other natural fabrics which are healthier for the envrionment and are not causing unecessary slow painful deaths or suffering for animals.

Choose no fur or fur related products and buy natural fabrics for a better cause.
