Has a price been announced as of yet? I'm assuming if they hit the U.S. it's gonna be pretty pricey eh? will they only be offered in specialty stores or will they be mass retailed.
Distribution for the US is being finalised now. Expect it to hit stores around the $599 mark. Initially we expect to sell in hobby stores and online, but we also hope to have it in retail outlets in malls before Christmas.
There's a whole load of preprogrammed files that come pre installed on the robot and more on the CD that comes with it that you can download.
Don't worry too much about it being difficult to program. It's quite intuitive. Just click on the joint you want to move and drag it about until it's in the right place. Think stop motion with modeling clay. We've had 10-year-olds pick it up in under 5 minutes(some of the motions in "Robot First Test" were stolen from them!), so you should be fine.
We have indeed allowed for entering servo positions long hand. Grabbing hold of limbs and swinging them about is great for rough positioning, but for us retentives, a little digital manipulation never goes amiss
Is this a toy (like i-sobot?) or a serious robot for begginers?

wow I really wanted one of these but not that I see how complicated it is just to do one simple task Idk.
Is there a bunch of already loaded actions in that controller? I've never had a real working bot before sorry if the qestions sound somewhat dumb.
