how much of the Prefatory Act did Scriabin himself actually write ?

@gymgymgymgym Very little; all that survived were between 50 and 60 pages of short sketches--a few bars here, a few bars there. He also wrote a lengthy script for the work--back when he conceived it as having sung text. Nemtin closely studied the sketches, the script, and Scriabin's later works; and this work is the product of Nemtin's research into Scriabin's compositional technique and his theories on Scriabin's new directions (as indicated by the sketches)--all guided by the script.

Scriabin was a mysic who thought he could change the world with his epic music. Died at 34 from a infectied cut, so the story goes. He was a genius but he was off his gourde !!

This is amazing will have to buy it, that climax at the end is great. Has a very Prometheus feel so Nemtin did pretty well.
