  • Just a few questions - if I get this lens and adapter I won't lose any f-stops? It is very important that f really stays in 1.4, so I could film in low-light environments. And is this f number constant all the time?

  • @Brutalexecution Yes, you loose F-stops. I believe you loose 1-2 F-stops. The lens is very creamy at 1.4 so it''s not sharp before you go over f2.0. I would recommend the Sigma 50mm 1.4 for Canon (modern lens) (better than Canon EF 1.4) for nightshots.

  • Does the Zykkor have glass or not? I have an adaptor with no glass, no complaints about focus but it depends what you are shooting.

  • @bruvvamoff Yes, the Zykkor has correctional glass.

  • @bruvvamoff which adapter are you using bruvva?!
