I am from Yorkshire and whilst I have heard the 'BBC English' before I find this accent very amusing. Oh and for those who don't know, the 'standard' or 'BBC' English is actually called 'Received Pronunciation'.
I understand that this is a language course, and if I was studying German I would want clear, slow actors, but being a native Brit it's quite odd to hear it really slow and the actors having really posh voices. How stereotypical.
@NuweHorisonne This is typical British English from the South of the country. Generally regarded as the 'standard British accent' or BBC accent as it used to be known.
