  • Make alcohol and cigarettes illegal. Marijuana was legal till 1968. Driving drunk causes more deaths anything. That is true. Why should someone who doesn't have a problem loose their job? It ain't like people smoke it on every work break. Unlike cigarette smokers getting their fix every break. Don't do it if you don't like it. There are far more important issues to have a war on. We need a war on drunk driving. A war on kids under the "legal age" accessing cigarettes and alcohol.

  • 1968?? No it was made illegal in the 1930s or so...

  • I have an idea, why don't we make alcohol and cigarettes illegal. So I don't have watch everyone on work break get their "fix". What is wrong with it? Not like you kept alcohol and cigarettes from kids! Alcohol has the biggest death rate and driving accidents. It is true. Don't do it if you don't like it. Be responsible for what you do. It was legal. Alcohol was illegal. It's wrong we should have to pay for it.

  • Just the fuel oil market alone is worth 210 billion to hemp farmers. That is enough to bring California out of debt. and have a eight billion dollar surplus.

  • Contact your congressman to voice your support for H.R. 5843 the Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults Act of 2009 an act that would remove federal penalties for the personal possession of up to 3.5 onces of marijuana. Contact your congressman we can make this happen. Copy and Paste to other videos get the word out.

  • why the fuck is prostitution legal and weed isnt?

  • um, prostitution is not legal

  • its legal in a small town outside vegas

  • Because marijuana could lead to the raping of white women..... History teaches us why this law exists... But why is marijuana currently still illegal? All for evil reasons... Pharma co's, alochol, tobacco industries, and police, judges, attorney's don't want to see this law go 'up in smoke' cuz it's easy employment and budget raises for themselves. And most importantly, the prison-industrial complex since America has 5% of the worlds population, and 25% of the worlds PRISON population!

  • To the guy who was talking about driving high. I've done it tons and it's completely different than drinking. The common misconception though is that driving high is safe, and it is, but hear these words from someone who's been there, you CAN be too high to drive. It just requires a lot of smoking or special edibles can fuck you too.

  • 6 grams later i broke off my mirror in reverse..cost 150 to fix and i learned my lesson

  • Chyea I saved myself after eating a special cookie with a g+ in it and hitting the vapourizer. I was planning stopping behind a red light like it was a stopsign, running the intersection in the proccess. I luckily stopped, anymore and I'm sure I'd be telling a more interesting story.... lol so take it from Hersey and Wildwoodboy92, know your limits, if you think you're too high to drive, just chilllllllll.

  • LOL, very funny... For those who don't know 6 grams is about 10-12 joints, or 15-20 bowls in a normal sized pipe. I'm a daily smoker as is my girlfriend and we can make 7 grams (1/4) last about a week if we are conservative. Without trying to be conservative for cost reasons, i'd say we go through 1&1/2 g to 2 g every day each.

  • only problem i have with driving high is on-coming head lights in the night.

  • lol I stop too far back at red lights! And maybe I go too slow but I can blame that part on being older.

  • Bravo Neal!

  • Good Job!

  • I have driven (On my property) over 100 times both drinking and smoking and there is no chance I could die smoking because I can't seem to get out of first gear.

Crime should be anything that hurts physically, mentally or financially, cannabis does hurt financially because its illegal.

  • I gave you thumbs up, but at the same time, I don't think gambling or prostitution should be illegal, and they could both hurt you financially, and prostitution could possibly hurt some mentally, even though it's their own fault.

  • why not compare the blatant differences in sentencing non violent drug offenses versus violent crime.. assault gets you a 50 dollar fine and court costs.. a joint gets you a 100 dollar fine plus court costs and drug and alcahol classes. not to mention denied access to student loans and grants....

  • wow dumb bitch... weed doiesnt impar your driving skills..... it doesnt impare anything for that mater i function the same way.

  • dont be stupid, i smoke weed alot, and it does impare shit. anyone that smokes weed and drives is the same as someone who drinks and drives.... a dangerous idiot

  • im proud of this guy. he spoke so clearly. legalize MJ!

  • if marijuana legalized, I can stop smoking a pack a day

  • Weed helped me quit smoking cigarettes .

  • If marijuana was legalized, I would probly quit tobacco. Mainly due to the fact that buds are meant to be smoked not leaves.

  • thats part of the reason why they wont legalize it. the tobacco companies would lose revenue. most people dont understand that pot is not as harmful as tobacco

  • Nice job Neal Levine, you're awesome. Well done, people like you are responsible for informing the public on how harmless pot is, compared to cigs and alcohol. One of these days we'll be able to exercise our right to do what we want! I am a person who doesnt smoke cigs because they are too potent for me, and drinks only small amounts of alcohol for the same reason, yet I smoke weed daily and function just fine. Thanks Neal and MPP.

  • why do more americans think cannabis should be legal???

INFORMATION!!! (thank you internet and utube).

calling the 'war' what it really is, prohibition, helps, too.

everyone knows that prohibition didn't work with alcohol.

to me, it seems the host set up Neal to state his well spoken arguments aginst the 'prohibitionist company line'.

PROHIBITION funds terrorism and gang violence.

    remember Al Capone???

to say no to cannabis/HEMP, is to say no to life.

  • For example, an economic analysis of the effects of decriminalization on marijuana usage found that states that had reduced penalties for marijuana possession experienced a rise in marijuana use and a decline in alcohol use with the result that fatal highway accidents decreased.

  • Fuck this bitch, she has incomplete information.

However, a closer examination of the victims revealed that around 85% of the people intoxicated on marijuana were also intoxicated on alcohol.

For people only intoxicated on marijuana, the rate was much lower than for alcohol alone. This finding has been supported by other research using completely different methods.

  • format gives me a headache. if it was stretched wider that would be better.

  • Hemp would rule the world , and other companies would go bankrupted , and that is what marijuana prohibition is all about !

  • Yes , finally the simple truth! Its all about the $.

  • people need to stop with how it has all those ''medical benifits'' and how it will improve our economy, stfu. as a stoner, we just want it legal so we can get high without breaking the law. americans want to get high, americans will get high, its not so bad that most drug users choose marijuana. i just want to get high without worring about going to jail or having to pay 700 dollers all for stinky lil marijuana

  • I get the "i just want to get high without worrying about going to jail " comment but dissing its other benefits is a bit short sighted. These assets in marijuana use and regulation are much more motivating to the general public then you getting high. They will help you get what you want much faster then if they werent there. You should embrace them if you truly want what you say.

  • I used to like to get high now I use for medical reasons, what it the worst thing about people like you is you ignore the plants ability to provide America with a way out of economic depression and offers a solution to the fuel for the cars. Henry Ford's 1st car ran on hemp. So if you want it legal just to get high you are really just smoking too much.

  • a pot smoker is a pot smoker, regardles of how much we use, we are still looked down upon for our use. people wont accept marijuana as a means to better our economy. fuel cars? sure, like the gas industry will allow that, we arent going to use it for fuel. for the next 50 years, the only difference will be half electric, half gas enigines, at the least, most will be electric and hydrogen, not pot.

  • I think the word "marijuana" is the first thing to overcome. The plant was renamed in the 30's for a reason that was racist and a scare tactic for the profit of a few men. America's people accepted this in those days as our country was gripped by fear. Yes, we are looked down on now, but there are ppl working on bringing this plant to its full usage and they will not fail because the benefits of the plant are real. Too many ppl know the truth for it to take 50 years, ppl will make change!

  • ok but...cmon you still just wanna get high XP

  • well yeah of course. I will admit my reasons have changed from recreational to medicinal but I do still want it. The sad part is since my health changed I NEED it.

  • that sucks. What do you need it for?

  • It helps fibromyalgia pain as far as it distracts me from it and it helps me eat and sleep right. I don't remember PTSD dreams if I have cannabis before bed.

  • you never got a bad PTSD pot trip? well thats all good but i think it shouldnt be a medical thing, it should be something you can buy like any plant. It shouldnt be something you need to go to the pharmacy for, it should be something you can buy at wallmart without a prescription if your over 18. But i am glad people can get it for medical purposes now.

  • They should sell all the foods that can be made from cannabis at WalMart too. That would be good as the plant has more in it than just THC that is good for human consumption. The more I read about the plant the more I wonder why it is illegal in all forms including industrial use, by the gov.?

  • I wish it was legal. After i started using it, my depression and violent thoughts didnt seem as bad XP

  • Dana did a very fine job in this interview I think. She brought up all the arguments that retarded anti-legalizers use and allowed neal to prove them wrong. Good job!

  • Good job Neal, I like the arguements you made in favor of legalizing marijuana.

  • fox reporters? thats an oxymoron, dont reporters report actual "news"?

  • not anymore... real journalism died when it became biased

  • is that why fox has the most viewers by far than any other network?

  • I think everyone here is being a little harsh on the lady. She did fine working from an objective point of view. Everything she asked is a concern for a lot of people. She let the man talk and gave him some tough questions, unlike many FOX reporters who insult and interrupt. Go her and go Neal!

  • I agree, even though were arguments were dated, she was very polite unlike all fox reporters.

  • She was being a smart ass!!

  • You tell her Neal!! tell Gov. Schwarzenegger, we need to have a serious debate about these issues people can't just think this is a joke all the time!!!!!!!

  • "wouldnt legalizing marijuana make us the laughing stock of the nation"? wtf is she talking about!!!!?...shouldnt we be more embarrassed that we are 5% of the world population, yet we have 25% of the prison population? what a dumb ass!!

  • Did she just bring up CAR ACCIDENTS in relation to Marijuana use??!!!?? Wow! There's a new one. I guarauntee over 50% of ANY car accident where the driver had smoked pot - he was also DRUNK. Give me a fucking break. "Do you have any imperical (sp?) evidence that marijuana is less harmfull than alcohol?" - Where the fuck have you been for the last 10 years to ask a question like that? When have you ever heard of marijuana causing harm? Sorry people, but you/we are NOT PROGRESSING.

  • She is just throwing out there the same old prohibitionist drivel hoping to stump the regulationist. It's all they have and pitiful but unfortunately still works on the government propaganda fed sheeple who make their decisions based on fear and the idiocy that the "Drug Warriors" are telling them the truth.

This is why all cannabis regulationists need to listen to prohibitionist's and be prepared to throw their half-truths and lies right back in their face.

  • She looks like she drinks alcohol , and smokes cigarettes .

  • Man she looks fucking creepy.

  • She's beautiful.

  • This is why I donated to MPP. For your continued efforts, I cannot thank you enough, Mr. Levine.

    Taloon64

  • once all the old miserable fucks die, cannabis will be legal

  • Haha thats always been my point of view.

  • go get em Neal 5*

  • very well done, Mr. Levine... stick it to the man

  • marijuana attributed to car accidents??? omg wen was the last time anyone crashed while being high??? wen u drive while being high ur ass is paranoid than a bitch about fuckin up that u drive better than everyone else on the fuckin road...the irony

  • Great job MPP.

    :)

  • Is it just me or is this video appearing really skinny?

  • its not fit to be on the youtube screen

  • Thanks Neal

  • Great vid, Neal holding it down

    "Is alcohol safer than marijuana"

that shouldn't even be a question, and this is plain simple 3rd grade sense.

You take 10 shots, you can't stand, talk, function, anything.

Smoke a marijuana blunt and what?

    oo ya theres nothing

    :P

  • wow that lady is retarted.. she made the dumbest excuses of why weed shouldnt be legal and gav some bitchy looks to that guy

  • yeah, but that is always the case. People who are against legalizing it always go in with a pre conception, and never listen to any facts.

  • when it becomes legal in my state, which would be one of the 1st being Hawaii who already legalizes medical use, i am going to open up a "coffee shop". it's gonna be named Mo's Natural Organic Chemical-less Rocketship. it's gonna be a huge Red, Yellow, Green building shaped like a trippy UFO. When buds become legal, come visit me in the islands peeps ;-)

  • I DRIVE BETTER HIGH!!!!!!!!

  • Stupid bitch drink alcohol and fall all over and piss all over your self !!

  • damn she was ugly

  • Yeaahhh! Neal is the man.

  • he repeated a lot but were all still good points. the lady wasnt very ok with the idea though haha

  • wasn't very is an understatement shes probably one of those flag waving mothers who all you have to say is its harming your kids and they'll buy it

  • Great vid,,keep them comin...5/5

    and great job Neal.

  • Excellent facts and well said, too bad Dana Gentry couldn't argue.

  • holy shit dana gentry is looking rough, i don't think i want to be 'face to face' with that sack of wrinkles

  • lol i thought the same exact thing!!

  • i like how they use arnold schwarzenegger for what they should do in NEVADA

  • Thier showing that important poeple, poeple in power, and actually looking at this.

  • GO NEAL!!!

  • He is great I hope this makes a differance

  • i know shes trying to play advocate but what a fucking K K KUNT

  • if it ever dose become legal.... i wonder how they will handle drug testing?

i hope that it will become a thing of the past.....

  • Neal put togeher yet another excelent argument, and as he stated, "the facts ARE on our side."

I beieve that it's not a matter of if, but when marijuana is legalized, And that day is getting close.

  • This was an excellent interview, though I think that woman wasn't well-prepared. Car accidents? Yeah, right. Weed is no more debilitating than coffee. Even if someone got into a crash while high, there would be no physical signs to know they were high. Sobriety tests wouldn't work. Weed just isn't as dramatic an effect as alcohol. That's the fact of the matter. Whether you want to drive on it should be personal choice. If you start driving recklessly, that's your own fault.

  • He's exactly right when he says "the facts are on our side". We're tire of seeing our peaceful stoner friends getting locked up, while the frat boys get trashed and drive home from the bar every weekend.

  • The world is actually changing. I wish it would happen a lot of faster. Something is a whole lot better than nothing however.

  • great, that guy came to play the game, and he powned that lady. What a great representative. He factually slaughtered that woman.

  • LEGALIZE

  • Thats a bitch if I ever saw one.

  • The war on drugs is 70+ years long and continuing. There is no winning a war that never ends.

Do you want to continue to pay to incarcerate over 800,000 non-violent Americans each year?

    Me neither.

    LEGALIZE MARIJUANA!

  • Fuck that shit... Its a natural plant that just happens to have certain effects when burnt... LEGALIZE IT WITH NO TAXES!

  • To her statement on marijuana in car accedents and deaths..... I have a simple answer. Marijuana stays in your system up to 30 days. You can wreck and not be under the effects of marijuana and still test positive. B/C you smoked some time ago.

    and

We will not be lol'd at for legalizing or decriminalizing weed.

we are already lol'd at for jailing our own neighbors, co-workers, friends, Dr's, lover's, patients and families over a plant that kills ZERO and helps countless

  • Legalize Nature, from Las Vegas.

  • Ignore the DEA and their bullshit about alaska. That "experiment" was not what they say it was... And it doesn't really apply to a better national drug control policy of regulation.

Portugal is a much better example of what decriminalization does, positive results all around for their policy.

Legalization and regulation solve the problems with Prohibition! And it works to better solve the REAL drug problems, far better than prohibition ever could.

  • Even the UN drug czar admitted this week that what Portugal is doing actually works. Marijuana use has caused no problems whatsoever for anyone.

  • It was great. Wasn't it. I think that it was a real step forward. There is actually progress happening here.

  • They tax it, I'll move there.

  • ask your reps. to ban alcohol. lets see what they say

  • I think the hatred toward psychoactives includes alcohol. This is a Christian Right thing. They think ALL psychoactives are evil. Many WOULD bring back alcohol prohibition, but they know that if they openly supported that, they would be laughed at and their reputation would suffer. They'd lose the drinkers' votes. So they pick their battles. I think alcohol is still in the back of their mind, though.

  • shame on you for beliving psychoactives are evil... people dont use them for fun. we use them for spiritual purposes only! i have lead all my friends and family to try magic mushrooms and dmt and it changed thier lives forever... they are all so humble, and loving now. and alchohal is nothing like halucinagens. u r uneducated and you need to stop misleading others with your christian bullshit

  • Where did I say I thought psychoactives are evil? I'm saying that this is what dumbass CHRISTIANS believe. I'm not one of them. I've never done shrooms or DMT (yet), but I love LSD.

Religion has good reason to fear psychoactives, since psychoactives lead to true enlightenment, as you so aptly point out.

  • Finally someone who understands the spiritual benefits of psychoactives! The real problem is that the government doesn't want a bunch of intelligent, enlightened people, because then they get too hard to control. That, and their cheap moralism and backward religions.

  • Ya actually, any type of drug is considered sorcery or witchcraft by a lot of christians. If i believe the bible was a work of god, and not a collection of works put together as a government tool for Constantine and his empire, i'd believe that too, thank man for history, huh.

  • It's time for people TO WAKE UP to the government's pulling the wool over people's eyes with propaganda! COME ON AND LEGALIZE WEED and stop the stupid money wasting drug wars!

  • well if u think about it.

How much do u pay for an OZ of tobacco?

About 14 bucks riight. Now if marjuanna would be legalize, it would cost the same :D

  • no it wudnt it wud be 10$ a gram or half the price

  • just like tobacco there would be different brands and different qualities for different prices.

  • Right on

  • Lovin it !

  • Tax that shit!
