  • I just had a tour of Case Western Reserve and I saw their virtual reality lab. I hope to go there or Carnegie Mellon for computer science. At CWR this guy talked about how the gaming industry is so important because it pushes the limits of what we can do so we can create simulations for surgeons, soldiers, policemen, firemen, etc. Seeing this video also makes me realize what it can do for mentally challenged and physically handicapped kids. They can have fun and learn motor skills. Its great

  • poor kid.

  • That is really neat. If the kid is only able to use physical movements to communicate, that detection system could be adapted to interpret his body language for people that wouldn't normally understand him. I really like seeing technology applied to help people like this.

  • Wow, thats an A Wing!!!!

  • hail to the star wars nerds! they are everywhere!

  • I don't understand what the intent of the study is. Unless it's three English pizza delivery guys in their basement and they're messing with one of their little brothers. Would this baby react the same if looking in a mirror at its own reflection?

  • "Would this baby react the same if looking in a mirror at its own reflection?" Very interesting question. Watching the video I did not understand if he is a baby or a baby with problems.

  • *sigh* Why does no one read descriptions? HE HAS A MENTAL DISABILITY!

  • Sorry. I did not read the description.

But I almost understood the video :)

  • Not bad at all.

  • Amazine
