God, the announcing's a bit off. But you can't see everything in a race. Sheesh.

you guys, when an announcer is looking through binoculars and is at the front of the field, he has no way to see whats going on 15 lengths behind the leaders. a nice pair of binoculars wont see that far back if your looking at the leaders. same thing with Trevor last year and pine island. it happens, not the announcers fault.

Me too although Denman missed Pine Island's breakdown during last year's Distaff.

I was thinking the same thing, Prairie Bayou was 2nd in the Derby and won the Preakness. And there is no mention whatsoever of that tragic sight when he falls back suddenly.
