Better not to exchange the a pawn for the f-pawn to have any vestigial hope of a draw. Black's only hope at that point is to win the a pawn outright (requiring a Carlsen blunder), then to exchange a K-side pawn to leave a hopefully drawn R+P or K+P position.

Thanks for the video. Nice to get a taste of what the tournament was like in action. It is a shame there are so many negative comments here about the camera job. My 2 cents: like many things in life, less is more when it comes to camera work. For a situation like this, a more or less static view of the board would be ideal. Panning slowly to a player's face would be okay during a longer think. Anyhow, thanks for sharing. It was interesting to see.

On an unrelated note, why do all the non-american tournaments use the DGT clocks? Chronus', both heat activated and with buttons, are so much quieter and easier to press.
