@WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWVWW if you do decide to get cats i recommend getting 2, especially if they are from the same litter, they keep each other company and remember eat cat has a personality. i have 2 Korat sisters and one is an attention slut and the other is really selective, one honks the other purrs and one of them plays fetch (but only when she's in the mood) and they both occasionally poke their tongues out really far and forget to put them back in for a good 15min I LOVE CATS :)

It's amazing how cats can tell time - mine were always by the front door when it was time for me to come home. I had one that would behave decently but another that would wake me in the middle of the night to be petted. I learned to sleep with my arms under the blankets; it was my only chance to sleep through the night!
