As a survivalist and prepper, what's even more disappointing, is that survival kits people into this sort of woo-woo sell are all cheap knock offs that aren't worth their salt when you really need them. They get people to stock up on tinned food and then the folks end up with it going rotten, because when the come dosn't hit, they go back to their regular lives, and people actually advocating sensible (Well sort of, Go Zombie Squad) steps are seen as the same sort of nutter.
