  • The bit where you first go over the water itself, I swear that's where we went on camp with school haha, planes were flying over every day

  • You mean BAE Hawk. By the way, what model is your Hawk?

  • I grew up a few miles from the South of Windermere: I was out and about on my bike one day in quite an exposed spot and heard a plane coming over, looked round to see a Harrier pointing straight at me! He rocked the plane after to say hi, but I still needed some fresh Y-fronts!

  • thankgoodness for youtube.........if it was for youtube us mere ground based mortals would never know what its like to fly low level over the great british countryside!! great post!

  • Is this in England .... I live in Windermere Florida and that doesn't look a thing like it lol

  • these aircraft do'nt have afterburners.

  • so youre the tw@ who always scares the crap out of me! Lay off the afterburners until you get past ullswater next time please, i'm sick of filling my keks ;o)

  • Great video - we sail windermere often, and see you guys pass all the time - so wave at us, we always wave at you guys!!!!

  • thats mint, I agree with the last comment aswell they are killjoys.

  • Is that the Kirkstone Pass they fly straight through the middle of after Windermere?

  • yea mate, it's over rydal water, keep going for Ullswater & Pooley

  • Cracking video!

  • Thank you

  • xlqex do you live in the lake district?

  • It's the tourist insurgence that is ruining the Lake District creating errosion up the dales.

  • Sorry But it is still fun

  • I'm sure it is.

  • @xlqex I totally disagree!

  • @xlqex - you got a lot of negative votes but I totally agree with your comment

  • is the clip of the hawk that flew around the uk on youtube?

  • these fly boys are mad ,i was laying track in the aberglaslyn pass last summer and was amazed at their antics, flying low along the valley and only just clearing the porthmadog end!

  • That's an essential part of training. They must fly very low and very fast as to not be detected. It's been tried and proven that flying that low and fast ensures the aircraft remains undetected, so as part of training, they must fly at low level =)

  • yeah hope you appreciate wot u do., yuo got the best job in the world ,,. but wots after that ? a desk / hmmmmmmmm

  • I am not aircrew but I would do this any day then move to a desk Than never do it at all

    would you not agree

  • Haha LOL was at brathay hall with young carers from skem, out on the whaler and these guys flying over in bundles

  • awesome

  • Which sqn did u fly with? I flew with 19sqn (2 weeks before 16th birthday!) on a not so beautiful day as this one, great footage. :D

  • This has got to be one of the best things I've seen on You Tube so far.

    Thanks.
