Sachin will produce when there is no pressure, even in the first tests he got 63 but in the second innings when we needed him the most it was so predictible he would get out cheaply and thats what happened. I bet with my friend on that and even him being a diehard Sachin fan was shocked.

I saw this innings live - it was the worst Tendulkar innings....ever. Long, tedious, and boring with truncated strokeplay (ie. he refused to play those nice cover drives).

I both agree and disagree with you. I am a devout Indian fan, and although it was slightly more boring than most of his other fabulous test knocks, what distinguished it apart from the others was that he was in the worst form he had been in a while. The dtermination he showed after the dropped catch was a mark of a tru batsmen trying to earn back his elusive form against the best bowling attack (even with the ommittance of Warne and McGrath)
