Believe it or not the US is a capitalist country. To be a Dr. you get a bachelors degree in pre-med (4yrs) then if their grades are good enough go to medical school for another 4years.Then after that they do residency at a VERY low pay scale for 3 to 7years. He was very big on promoting equality of the races. His ".22 Rifle For Christmas" episode of Dragnet was aired practically every year during the holidays it was so helpful to police.

And I wouldn't mind not having to budget $150 for a doctor visit, because insurance costs $250/month for an $8000/yr deductible. Any medical system has its horror stories, and contrary to popular belief, the US is *not* the premier provider of health care in the world. Our system costs more than ALL other systems combined, and we still can't give care to those who really need it.

Obama's doing what little he can to repair the damage done by Bush and the GOP majority, but it'll take a while. Of course, Obama's done his fair share of bad moves, and he's not exactly as "progressive" in action as people think (always capitulates, it seems, these days), but I'd take him over Bush any day.

He was taunted by the right for his missile strikes. He honored the American way of verification before action.

Forcing us to purchase healthcare from private providers violates the US Constitution. Obama's vision is closely patterned after a Euro-style healthcare that fails miserably far too often.
20% of the economy centers on healthcare. Democrats siezed the opportunity to grab massive power over the economy so they could remain in control (they thought).

You might do some studies on previous bailouts & how the government doesn't just throw money at them and let them make the same mistakes. GM had plenty of opportunity to come up with a plan to operate on their own. They failed. They had the audacity, as was their 3 decade long problem, to offer a plan that didn't change course.

@wittumy AYFKM? Try googling Eric Holder & Black Panthers. If Bush had pulled the same thing with the names you would've had a $&$ stroke-- and been justified, I might add-- and you know it. Obama ILLEGALLY interfered in the GM "bankruptcy" and used the "bailout" to ILLEGALLY cut in line AHEAD OF THE SECURED CREDITORS (not to mention shareholders) who got NOTHING.
STILL waiting on that ObamaCare magic elixir explanation...

@reprobacious As i said you have no proof whatsoever. Yeah when you google Eric Holder & Black Panther you get hundreds of right wing web sites and absolutely no proof of anything. I've seen the videos of Black Panthers that you guys are whining about and they show nothing but right wing fantasy.
