My opinion was formed upon the building's construction, lots of my friends share it. I will say that doubtless I couldn't build something as structularly impressive however I'm sure I could construct something with a better purpose ie a hole in the ground or simply nothing which would at least have the benefit of being a public space.

ok sounds fair - I think I would better appreciate it as a public space as well...I can tell you when I seen it for the first time I didn't like it ... it seemed to me like an ugly knife hurting the city (and in general I hate skyscrappers:understand them as expressions of the worst aspects of our society) but in everything we can find a positive point of view,

... after its complection I realise that the building made me look to the city with a different eyes, now seems to me there's allways a new perspective of Manchester, it makes the skyline more interesting wherever I'm looking for ...
so... just wait a little and we'll see what will you say about the new higher tower coming soon at Piccaddily

opinions are opinios: most of the times they just depends on your mood and are always very easy to produce.
that building is a fact : good or bad , we just have the right to criticize when we can produce a better one.
