not to mention its discontinued.... dont get so hyped on the HVX... ive PD-170 footage match HVX flawlessly... its all about the lens my friend... you think you want an hvx... but to achieve the look you want you'll need lenns... for instance a basic 3x fish... DOP is key to adding "the look"

i roll with a Z1U... cousin to HVX however doesn't shoot in 4:2:2 like advertised. it's compresses its footage to mpeg2 which makes the camera compression 3:1:1

i dont think ty used this lense for the lakai video. theres a big quality difference. this is clearly HD. in a interview with ty he said in all those photos what they were covering up was a dolly or sum shit like that, but ive seen pics of the lense being covered to hide it. i think they are going to film the new girl video in high def and it will look like this when we upload there parts on youtube . haha
