this wonderful clip reminds me a bit of the time around the World War II, of course before the displacement in some regions of Germany. in my opinion this melody embodies the adherence on good memories of better days before the war. these wonderful pictures could also be memories of my anscestors who lived in those days and Yann Tiersen does the rest - that I feel for them and their pain that they had to go through.
