  • I might get this game on PC, Syndicate Plus anyways, and maybe also get the DOSBox emulator so then it can run... I have a Vista and a 7, I miss my XP.

  • This game was badass when it came out. Loved this along with Cannon Fodder and Cannon Fodder 2.

  • The new game might be good but I would have hoped for a game more similar to Fallout 3.

  • oh my, this feels like universal soldier.

  • Oh wow this game! What classic. Remember when it first came out on Amiga and I got so hooked. The sound when people are burning will forever be etched into my brain haha

Looking forward to the the new Syndicate game despite it being fps.

  • che nerd che sei asd

  • @Meninx87 viva il CapoBastone

  • Sono qui grazie a Capobastone

  • this game was off the chain,..... those graphics....

  • Great game but too easy... especially when you have a flamethrower

  • Who else looked at their mobile when the sliding doors opened?

  • This was in my top five for Amiga titles. Man, what a game.

  • Great post! Loved this game, back in the days.. The tune.. the good ol' graphics.. the gameplay.. the sound effects.. the possibility to incinerate people.. :P

Man, what a game Syndicate was!

  • There is many amiga games on PC where you don't have to use WinUAE (*.exe) :) That is integral game and emulator. Loading is much faster and there is multidisc games (for example Waxworks works great very fast loading and of course you don't have to change discs) :)

  • I spent a lot of time with this game when I was a kid. Poor civilians... :-)

  • If ever there was a game that needed a remake, this was it. If only the graphics weren't so horrible...

  • This is the only 16-bit game where I remember the 'cheat'.

Type 'Marks Team' in the agency name for infinite funds.

  • miniguns rule

  • amiga vs pc: the amiga version has better graphic, and better sound. im plaing now in syndicate pc and i prefer the amiga version. ps. the radad in amiga version and pc version is different

  • Wow. I'd forgotten about this game. The early/mid nineties were the best time for me gaming. Games were original and had atmosphere. Chaos Engine, Alien Breed, SWOS, Knights of The Sky, F1 GP, Silent Service and Cannon Fodder. Can I play this on my Pc using an amiga emulator? If so, can anyone recommend a good site for me to visit? Many thanks.

  • @MrAnthropophagy

    Read our channel FAQ :)

  • @cubex55 Cheers. Didn't see your channel originally as i was using YouTube via my iPhone. Have downloaded WinUAE and am playing The Chaos Engine now. Will play Syndicate next. Cheers.

  • @MrAnthropophagy winuae is a great emulator and the roms are very easy to find

  • @MrAnthropophagy Games were more original and atmospheric back then because we were children and we're not now... Sigh!

  • @AskMeddi..i'm sure that's a large part of it but also we were on a crest of a wave where games were breaking new boundaries. Nowadays, apart from open-world games, everything seems so cliched and 'already been done'. Games companies nowadays also seem more motivated by how much money they can get from people (shallow DLC and 'extra content'). They also go for the blockbuster 'style over substance' route that exists in much other media based entertainment.

  • @MrAnthropophagy Win UAE and type amiga roms in google

  • @MrAnthropophagy i ove play moonstone with win uae. its great game

  • I used to LOVE Syndicate! The graphics, music, sounds, the setting, the overal atmosphere, so many little hidden gems.... I could go on for days! I get chills still when I see Bullfrog's logo....

  • This was my favorite game, 18y ago. I've completed this game several times.

Still to this day I've never found out when and where to use the 'Access Card'. I didn't need this to complete the game but I REALLY need to know... Can somebody clear this up for me? Then I can put my mind to rest :)

  • @Guardian1224 I remember using the card, not for what though. Will download and play the pc version and get back to you:)

  • wtf game is that :S

  • xDD eso demora mucho xDDDDDDDDDDD

  • W T F ?

  • wtf

  • how long is it take to upload 3 hour video...?

  • @HeavenXxX i think he had to change a disc about 10 times

  • I liked this game though when I played it I didn't know english. All I remember, I hypniticed people and gave them guns..thx for vid, it will remind me of this game :D

  • Thumbs up if you watched the whole thing

  • I loved this game so much.... badly need a remake to come along!

  • Is this the standard 4 disk version of the game? Or is it with the impossible expansion disk added? I bet its the standard since its only 3hours and 30 minutes and such a good player that could do them both (Without cheating) really would deserve a medal!

  • Could you please upload Syndicate wars?

  • @Thesensitiveguy15

Please request games on our forums, as there all the longplayers can see it :)

  • @cubex55 shame that it didnt have a better ending... man you are really good i never made the last mission.. even though i came really close

  • 3 hours 30 mins? Definetely LONG play :)

  • I loved this game!

  • This game has the best "dude on fire" sound effect.

  • I played the hell out of this game. I miss the Amiga.

  • so many days in this game...

  • It's hard to say but PC version is ... better :)

  • like a true pacifist i used to persuade everyone and it used to take me forever to complete the levels as i would wait untill everyone had been persuaded. the game used to slow down loads when i had an army following my agents around. i still wish i had a real persuadertron in real life because i would persuade everyone to give me money

  • Oh my God I played this game when I was young and back then it was so hard and I hardly understood what I had to do but I liked it!

  • You young whippersnappers may not know this, but us old timers who used to play this game remember that it was made from Peter Molyneux. THATS RIGHT!! THE GUY WHO MADE FABLE for the Xbox360!!

  • My syndicate downloaded from Abandonia even with DOSbox crashes... :(

  • The intro sequence rocked at the time!

  • This stuff is really bringing the memories back. The days that were spent playing these games ...

  • Classic....

  • Still my fave squad based real time game and I prefer Amiga to PC. Speed on PC meant missions where too quick and relied more on auto-firing than manual aiming. Never really figured out syndicate wars as was v.tricky to get working on PC prior to dosbox.

    And the 3 bars:

    Red - speed

    Blue - aim

Yellow - AI (will pick best weapon and automatically fire on enemy)

  • I have SYndicate wars on the PSx still.. an original copy as well! Iv got an Amiga emulator and I lvoe Syndicate! It was one of my fav games on my Amiga A600 :)

  • Damn this game was awsome back in the day. I just loved that mini gun.

  • I remember the final mission. I rocked up with 4 agents heavily armed with miniguns and with all the latest bodyarmour.

...and they were absolutely slaughtered. They took so many hits they hardly could shoot back at all. LoL

Later I returned with lasers and that was a different story altoghether

  • 1:22:00 hahaha

  • What are the red blue yellow bars for?

  • This was an awesome game. Please find a producer, who gives this Game new Grafics and new Sounds and i buy it one more time. It is more better than a lot of Games which you can buy today. Atari ST sucks.

  • omg 3:30 hrs _-

  • All-Time classic. Mini-Gun kickass awesome

  • was this the regular speed or has the framerate been dropped? jut looks a bit too fast/choppy than I remember. Anyway good to see this game getting the LP treatment, maybe someone will do the american revolt addon pack, and syndicate wars.

  • I loved this game back in the day but i was never able to get new agent to join my team. Thats why i used to use the "MARKSTEAM" code to get everything and just play through the mission as i see fit. The only mission i could not complete was the final mission, the mission in the atlantic ocean. Not seen how u did it yet but im looking forward to it.

  • Damn! And I thought I was good at this.

You are the muts nuts my bro!

Played this game to death too. Fantastic game.

That last level drove me absolutely furking crazy.

This is one of the best games of all time and need to be in the games hall of fame.

Three and a half hours. LOL

  • This game looks so cool. I bought this game on the PSP resently and now that I've seen Syndicate in action I can't wait to try it out. Too bad this version doesn't have any music, because I have heard music in Snes version and liked it. It fitted in the game so perfeckly.

Great show of gaming skill by the way. I don't think I would complete missions with single agent. :)

  • classic game man

I played the crap SNES version

  • OMGOMGOGM. me and my friends used to play this when we were 8-9 years old. we had no idea what we were doing but we had. thanks for uploading have tried to remeber what its was called for 10 years now :) gonna get it immediatly

  • Love the gameplay, love the cyberpunk theme - Bullfrog in their glory days. I'd love to see a remake of this with deeper game mechanics, multiplayer options, nice story and cinematics and whatnot !

  • A true gem, I still play this every now and then.

  • Mission Complidid!

  • is this Syndicate war's

  • Syndicate Wars was a sequel

  • i see cool thanks, Syndicate Wars was a great game

  • @cubex55 Yo bro. Maybe you can help me. I got Syndicate from Abandonia and i was a full nutt for this game when i had my Amiga. Now, even with DOSBOX i cant play it cause it says that the game doesnt run on a 64bit OS. What can i do? Thanx in advance...

  • @arvelos76

Download WinUAE and play the Amiga version, or download Snes9X and play the SNES one ;)

  • @cubex55 Thanks for the tip. And keep up the good work... ;)

  • @cubex55 Noooo the snes one is horrible.

  • What a classic, played a lot.

  • Absolute classic. Amiga games don't get much better than this bad boy =)

  • "Mission complitted". Classic.

I never figured out what those three slider bars were for (the red, blue, and yellow). You could turn them up or down on each agent - I know the red one enhanced your speed but the other two I was never certain of.

  • i don't know either but i think it's for the accuracy and something^^

  • The bars are the drug level. From the Manual:

    ADJUSTING IPA LEVELS

ALL LEVELS TO MAX - AGENT REACTS QUICKLY AND WITH A HIGH DEGREE OF

    OPERATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

ADRENALINE TO MAX ONLY - AGENT MOVES QUICKLY BUT YOU MAY NEED TO TAKE

CONTROL OF FIRING AND OTHER RESPONSES.

    INTELLIGENCE & PERCEPTION HIGH,ADRENALINE LOW - RESPONSE TIME SLOW,BUT

    FIRING ACCURATE.

DARK SEGMENT SHOWS AMOUNT OF DRUG USED.

LEFT-CLICK TO RIGHT OF CENTRE LINE TO INCREASE IPA LEVELS.

  • @LuminarNightblade Red: left = heals fasterm right = walks faster; blue controls the accuracy, and yellow is about opening fire on his own, I think. I am only certain about the red bar. So turn red to the right, run where you want to go, and then put red to the left and the other two to the right.

  • @Milkymalk Yellow is indeed about the level of autonomy. If you put it completely to the right, the agent tends to run off on his own, get in firefights with police and other syndicates. In most cases, you will end up losing the agent, having him upset your plans and/or killing someone that must be kept alive, failing your mission. I'd advise to put it to the right only if self-defence has the highest priority.

  • @Co19801003 Nice to know. Syndicate is from a time when most games where still a "black box" and the documentation included more flavor than actual description. Players felt like a scientist trying to figure out how the universe worked. Today, you know all the numbers and in-game mechanics of everything, so that feeling has been lost a little.

  • @Milkymalk Very true! I remember my friends and me being unable to save the game on our PCs until I got the great idea to create a folder called "Save" or "Savegames" or something common at the time - yes, in DOS, with the "md" command ;-) I was a self-proclaimed live-saver then ;-)

The good old days... Although I like having a decent manual with a game I buy, so it was not ALL better back then ;-) I hope you will be able to cherish YOUR memories from those time for year and years! :-)

  • @LuminarNightblade i think one speeds up healing and the other is for automtic shooting i think

  • one of my fav games ever!!!

i could never complete that damn paraguay mission on the PC. the guy would never persuade! x)

  • At last!

  • i love the sound of scanner pulsating, it was so climax :D

  • Haven't played this for a long time!

  • AWESOME!!

  • Now this is what i was waiting for :D This game kicks ass, played it plenty much when i was a kid :D
