Just clearing things up that's not a power glove it's what he uses to mix in the other voices (all him by the way) I LOVE PROJECT EARTH (it's the festival this was filmed at) :D i go every year!

the mix system is to his right you can see him use it when he's making the chorus line and queuing... The power glove was likely to accentuate his Nintendo songs (Tetris and Mario) I doubt he would have powered it in but it could be possible... wonderful performance
