@splicanin986 no it's not. Sony Ericsson has stopped developing and maintaining the Vivaz series and has broken all contracts with Nokia regarding the Symbian OS. All they think now is their line of Android powered Xperia phones.

A big disapointment for me :(

Anyway, I have moved to HTC Desire, so SE lost me as their user (as many others before me)!

@HDD09 there's no way in hell a puny phone image chip can produce the same quality as an average photocamera, unless you have a really shitty photo camera. I wouldn't even be surprised if those 8MP were upscaled like they used to do in the past. It's so silly how people correlate the number of outputted pixels with image quality.

i had mine for 8 days, it lagged, froze, turned off and shit all the time! turned it in for repair on june 19. today its july 20 so i called in there and then they said that they couldnt fix it ,. to many parts to order so im getting a new one when they call me . didnt drop it or anything. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! some stores have stoped selling it. to many people are turning it back in to the store and they dont want that.

@Fremstrom1 i think that's just your bad luck. i'm sorry to say that but yeah mine works perfectly and smoothly. just a production failure which happens to some products, you can ask for replacement to SE.

@isaan11 ok.. ive been talking to some people with vivas and theres many ppl that are having the same problems as me. but sony in sweden said that they were goint to send me a new vivas so it will be here tomorrow or on monday, but still had it for 8 days and now its been gone for 5 weeks :( just hoping that the one i get doesnt screw me over :P

@isaan11 how is your vivas working now? got mine back yesterday after 7 weeks of repairing, they changed some parts, updated and put in some new programs. now when i press the menu button its actually open, dont have to wait 3 seconds anymore :P running FAST now. like it so far now, no problems with it yet. hope it wont start again.

I just made an order on this phone - hopefully they'll release iPhone-ish accessories. A snap-on QWERTY keyboard wouldn't be too bad (but that's intergrated into the Vivaz Pro, which costs ALOT MORE than this one :()
