  • Great job dude that rocks

  • really well done, stunning work

  • Pinch is oversized

  • @trainbot1 Yeah I know this was the first build take a look at the new pinchy, it looks much better!

  • awesome model! I like it a lot!

  • That is fantastic well done!

  • awesome job

  • That's a very nice piece of work you have don there.

  • Very impressive and kudos to Crovansgateoo9 for mentioning this in his bulletin; it brought me here :)

    Keep up the great work!

  • Wow, just wow, brilliant model! :O

  • @crazyracer12 Thanks, check out my Pinchy rebuild you'll see the much more updated version

  • Looks brilliant that! Really does. I'm currently working on my claw and watching for a cheap warship to paint up- hopefully mine will come out as good as this.

  • I am bidding on a Warship diesel to do this myself, your tips are very good here, I'll keep all this in mind when I start painting =)

  • @PokelordEX : I hope your work goes well, glad my video helps! One word of advice, when I sculpted the face I scuplted straight onto the warship with modelling clay that you can bake hard, with the intention of prying it off when finished to harden it. however it wouldn't come off so his face is always a bit soft. I would advise taking a mould of the front of the diesel and sculpting onto that and then applying the face this way if it fits snuggly over the top then you could make different faces

  • @0TheTenthDoctor0 You'll be happy to know I won one.

I am intending to get the Wooden Railway model of Diesel 10 to use for the face.

Any chance you can shed some light on what kind of paint and paint brushes you used? =)

  • @PokelordEX : Congrats on the win! you might find the wooden railway face a bit small but if it works then good because it's certainly an eaiser option i didn't think of! :D Paints wise i used all over Reeves acrylic paints mostly, overall tan for the body, brown for Pinchy, black for detail and white to mix with the tan for the hazard stripes. I would also advise the use of nail varish on Pinchy's body if you are using lolly sticks like I did as the paint does flake off easily otherwise

  • does the pinchy actually work, like move around and open and close?

  • @MegaSuperfatguy : unfortunetly not, the Mrk I Pinchy didn't even have proper detailing it was just painted on, the Mrk II was harder to make but actually was sculpted and build to have teeth and pipe unit on the side. Hopefully when it get around to the the Mrk III will be hinged and have a more accurate body.

  • @0TheTenthDoctor0 ok. i wish you luck with the Mark III pinchy goes well. tbh, this is probably the best made from scratch diesel 10 that is ever going to be made. the only one that i say has an actual factory made apperance is one made by a guy name toptzkfat. all he did was use a bandai tecs claw and face and just painted up the actual diesel 10 based engine like you did.

  • Most impressive.
