  • Alter...dat is zu duster xD

  • @AnselmoFanZero ja, aber entspann dich mal, sobald ich Zeit finde, einen externen Trigger dazuzubauen, gibts ein neues Video mit Fülllicht :-)

  • This is a very nice laser you have made!! Could you please tell me what the dimentions of the laser tube are? ID / OD / wall thickness?

    Thanks for the video!!!

  • You're welcome!

The discharge tube is 120mm long, inner diam. is 2mm, the outer is 8mm. There is no motivation for the wall thickness except for availability. In general, thin walls should be preferred in regard to heat transfer. However, the test run shown here did not manage to cause serious heating. It does not have to be quarz glass.

  • Very impressive work. I know how you feel regarding the length of time to complete projects like these. I have been working on a cascade style drift tube for quite some time now(2 years at least). Keep up the experimentation!

  • Awesome!! :D

  • WOW! Good job! Well done! I started the same thing long ago, but never finished (because my serious doubt). You gave me inspiration to finish it. Thanks!

  • Thank you for your appreciation :-) I am really pleased to hear you want to finish your project too. Looking forward to seeing you succeed (and of course publish a video here on youtube): all the best and good luck!
