@TaAncel Wow thanks, basically if I can dumb it down for you, people make scape goats and foreigners are the easiest. Naturally noone wants foreign criminals in their country making a mess of it, so that point is valid I cant argue with that, its just this attitude against anyone who comes here. Decent people should be left go where they want, personally I think a system such as the Aus or N.Z or Canadian one should be applied to allow people to stay in a given country within the E.U for longer

Amazing how the pro-immigration guy makes a point that because Irish music and dance was largely influenced from continental European music and dance, that this makes it somehow "traditional" for the Irish to want other cultures to influence there own culture. The reason Ireland took on elements of dance and music from elsewhere in Europe is because Irish music was banned in the 17th century and most masters of the native styles were killed! Why aren't the Irish defending their culture??

Canada takes in more third world immigrants than any country in the world. Maybe that has something to do with the reasons we have the highest personal income tax rate in the world? Our unemployment rate is now close to 7% and growing.  Immigration has been good for Canada, but excessive immigration is turning us into a third world country.

Irish are not mongrels. They are from similar stock as the english, welsh, scots, except more celt,(english celt/germanic mix)scots, welsh, cornish more celt etc.proven in large scale DVA testing. There is a old view that Jews were involved in leftism in many old world countries. Irish people arent reductionist racists as such, the israeli model shows that the jewish people understand what demographics mean: destiny. Irish people know this too.
