Brazilian music is wonderful and Mr. Ma is

a outstanding classical cellist but he can´t play bossa nova and seems completely lost when trying to solo. His weakest points (and the strongest points in bossa nova)iare rhythm and free phrasing over meter. Perhaps he should have taken much more time and care to study it before making a recording.

Well what can I say about Yo-Yo Ma playing Brazilian Music... It´s wonderful, extraordinary. He´s sensitive and deep. When I was living in the US I could not stop going to a Music store in order to listen to Obrigado Brazil everyday. EVERYDAY!
