the best conversion kits cost around 850$, the engine is around (depends on where you live) 1-2K new, used, rebuilt, or refurbished or at a junkyard, about 200-300 running and all that good stuffs, and if you dont lift it up a little, you could get a smashed oil pan if you go over a nice fucker of a pot hole or bump so the lift kit is about 2-8 hundred. so quite a bit of money or not too much depending on what your willing to give for a little bit. in the end you should take it slow.
why put a diesel in it whats the difference. sounds and looks awesome tho

it's a sweet turbo (slightly larger, from the quantum TDi engine) adapted to work on this 1.6, pulls good and still works well at 18psi :)
