C43 AMG Burnout!!

not sure where all this talk of w202's being shitty build quality is coming from. I've been driving a '94 C280 for 12 years and I can't dream of parting with it. it's indestructible and has only left me on the side of the road once (flex disc failed). I also change oil every 20k miles (mobil 1 synth).

common problems? wiring harness, head gasket, and in-dash vacuum system = all of which are the exact same system from the fabled w124 (which I also own)

I plan to replace my C280 with a C43

i heard some of the later w202 models had issues, as thats when mercedes became more cost conscious. but thats just what i've HEARD.

i personally have a '99 C280 Sport with 160k on the dial, and it feels like it has only half that many miles on it.

btw, i too will be getting a C43 AMG; i expect to in late spring of 2012

That was stupid. You were murdering the rev limiter, and dragging the front wheels. And your going to need new brakes as well. I removed a brake disc once after doing a 2 minute long brake stand and there was nothing left of it.

I have a black C43 AMG, I hate when I kick it side ways with the traction control off and then the traction control comes back on by it's self, is there any way to turn this off compleatly so I can do some drifting.
