i went to see it at the festival, and she was fabulous. my high school is doing this fall, as the first to premiere it. i agree, if it ever gets picked up, kate should definitely play sympathy. she has the most amazing high belt. :)

that high D she hits in the number she rehearses is simply and utterly GLORIOUS. and she's sooo nice and insightful about all the things happening in the theatre scene. love ya, kate!! if Sympathy Jones gets a full production, Kate should definitely be lead!
