Omega 3's (EPA/DHA) are polyunsaturated fats and in conjunction with Omega 6 GLA, produce Prostagladins E1 and E3 - which are ANTI-INFLAMMORTY. Prostagladins E2 are PROFLAMMATORY, and can be controlled via the inclusion of GLA in the diet (to prevent the metabolic pathway of AA into PEG2).

You are basically correct. However you over looked the fact that the standard american diet provides 3 to 4 times more proinflammatory omega 6. As a result our way of eating has become very inflammatory.
