why do people really like tastosis? i know they are big in korea, but i think they are really overrated, tasteless in particular, he would not engage in the game fully unlike day9 for example who would let us know what is going on and keep us interested

not to mention the episodes where tastosis were asked to 'buy' time when players were not ready, and he flat out says 'we will have to waste a little bit of time'... i mean who does that? so unprofessional

@orangemarme I think Tasteless doesn't need to engage in analysis as much because he's got Artosis -- he's on par with, if not better than Day[9] for game knowledge/sense/analysis. Tasteless is more of a shoutcaster/play-by-play guy, so Tastosis have some amazing synergy for that. I think they'd be a bit less entertaining if both of them focused purely on the game. But Day[9] and Artosis co-casting are great! Plus, it's great when they have to waste time and go on silly tangents.

I like Artosis but find Tasteless annoying. He never seems to have anything insightful to say. Day[9] Artosis would be my ultimate cast team, though Day[9] all by his own self is still better than Tastetosis for me.

@G3rain1 Day9 is great if you are a noob. I personally find him annoying and find his knowledge of game is lacking. I do agree that tastless' mind does seem to wonder so he isn't always talking about the game. I don't need insight however, so for me the casters just get me through the less intense parts of the games.

@ThePlaying27 aah wait.. I agree that husky doesn't know nearly as much about the game as the other guys you mentioned - but he never claims to... He just commentates to make the game more interesting for the viewers, which appeals to newer player a lot. So I have nothing but respect for that. I don't watch him myself since I personally like the more advanced analysis - but husky is definetely a good caster, in spite of his understanding of the game.

Day9 is more like an aquired taste.

Most guys like Day9 over Tastetosis because they haven't seen much Tastetosis and a lot of Day9. When you start watching GSL with Tastetosis, you will most likely start to like Tastetosis more. That's what happened to me and happens to most other people. But in the end Tasteless Artosis, Day9 and DjWheat are 4 of the best casters and we should happy that there are many good casters around there (don't forget Wolf and Moletrap!)

@ChuckFinley117 I liked Day9 more because I was used to him. Until I started watching GSL (Korea) with Tastetosis casting. I got to know Tastetosis better and they are so much better. Better jokes and same insight. And they have one advantage over Day9, they are always cast together which already makes them the best couple. Day9 should get a buddy to (and not Husky, he is too hyper-active-fast-talking)

@StSIZpanX I'm sorry but I disagree. I've watched some of the MLG finals and it seemed to me that their casting was not that great. A lot of "Well now"s, long pauses and other things that struck me as a little unprofessional. It seems to me that their best asset are their voices themselves, smooth and very "sportlike". All in all I enjoyed Husky's cast more, he really focused on the games and curbed his signature shenanigans and jokes while casting (which I love by the way).
