I recall when my daughter was playing club soccer several years ago at the upper levels (they were the state champs), to prove her eligiblity to be on the team (confirming she was the correct age), we HAD to provide her long form, original birth certificate, or she could not be on the team. Once again, just because a person is without a long form birth certificate does not necessarily mean that he isn't American! There are dozens of reasons why it could have happened! Saying that it was early Hawaiian statehood, it's likely because of poor record keeping at the Sec. of State or even the hospital! I have a COLB because I can't find my original- it's legally binding in every situation I've needed it, including joining the Police department! Get a new argument folks. This is old!

First off, he has a CoLB which is legally binding in all states- it's an official document to represent cases when the original either doesn't exist or can't be located. The reason why it wasn't needed- but was presented to the WND- was because it was a requirement when he ran for Illinois state senate and the U.S. senate!
@ppsimmons Dude, you're absolutely wrong! I lost my birth certificate- but was born in Florida. I filled out a form with the Florida Secretary of State and it was mailed to me. It is a legally-binding document issued by the state! I use it to gain employment, to get a new driver's license, and enroll in college classes! When I applied for the police academy, they accepted it as well! It's a legal document son! If he's anything like MANY Americans, he probably lost it form moving around!!
@darrenmuse the problem is that it is not a complete Birth Certificate that has been shown. He could get the full "long form" certificate from the state on his request. I have done the same for mine in California and received a much more detailed copy than the one shown by the president. The one he has shown is a computer print out from a database - one that, especially in Hawaii, you needed relatively little documentation on file to be able to receive.

2) Why does obama continue to refuse to release his Vault BC? Instead a team of attorneys are paid around 1.8 million dollars to keep it sealed; why if nothing to hide?
3) Why did O's grandmother admit being present when O was born in Kenya if it was false.

@qwertyman129 Article II of the US Constitution dictates the terms of Presidential eligibility, so that's the only "legal basis" needed. Addendums to Article II also state the number of years each parent must be a resident of the USA before eligibility is confirmed.

There has been a lengthy history (stretching back to before the Civil War!) of Presidents, VPs, nominees and major candidates who had one or more parents who were not citizens at the time of their birth, and none ever had their eligibility seriously questioned.

I live in NYC, and to get any job with the city (including the NYC Dept. of Education) you are required to produce a long form birth certificate (if you were born in the U.S.). The City will not accept a COLB/short form and explicity say so on their employment applications.

To be eligible to be president of the USA, the candidate MUST be a "natural born" citizen ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE USA and he must meet the following 2 conditions (both):
1) Obama must be born in the USA.
No long birth certificate has been provided! The short version (supposedly provided), even non-born in US get it automatically in Hawaii.
2) Obama must have both parents of American nationality. Obama's father was not American!

I can SO relate to you. I have a sister that thinks SO much of obama and oprah, and anything that is consistent with Socialism, yet she would not call it that. She has threatened to turn me over to the FBI if I sent anything more to her that exposes obama for who he is. Once again, just because a person is without a long form birth certificate does not necessarily mean that he isn't American! There are dozens of reasons why it could have happened! Saying that it was early Hawaiian statehood, it's likely because of poor record keeping at the Sec. of State or even the hospital! I have a COLB because I can't find my original- it's legally binding in every situation I've needed it, including joining the Police department! Get a new argument folks. This is old!

The state in question here is Hawaii, which even California singled out as not high enough standard to offer as proof in the state. Also, did you get a full copy (scanned or otherwise) from your state or a computer-printout as is the case here? They are not talking about an original, just a full copy - or an answer to any of the host of other questions.

@eazywealth Have you ever worked at a military facility where FEMA camps were being built? NO? Then I don't think you ask enough questions because I have and I know what they are for. I know what we were told to say about them and I know that the scripted explanation and the REAL explanation are two extremely different things. How about the martial law exercises our military performed in Tx and elsewhere? They were documented EXTENSIVELY.

Barry also has around 28-32 Social Security numbers with one being from a guy who died during the 1880s who was from Connecticut. We have never had a guy in the White House that has this much information hidden and kept from the public, ie--his medical records, his transcripts from Occidental College, Columbia University (where many say they do not recall him being a student AND there is no photo of him in the yearbook), or his transcripts from Harvard Law School.

Incorrect. There is no evidence to suggest that Obama has spent any significant amount of money fighting birther suits. One of his lawyers said they work pro bono on birther suits, and in another case where the birther lawyer was ordered to pay legal costs, it turns out that Obama's legal costs for that whole case was no more than $500. Please stop spreading birther lies.

To be eligible to be president of the USA, the candidate MUST be a "natural born" citizen ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE USA and he must meet the following 2 conditions (both):
1) Obama must be born in the USA.
No long birth certificate has been provided! The short version (supposedly provided), even non-born USA gets it automatically in Hawaii.
2) Obama must have both parents of American nationality. Obama's father was not American!

Why is he the first President to be harassed to show proof of his birth. I can't even get a driver Licenses with out showing my proof of birth. There are also allot of holes in this that the normal person wouldn't catch. But this video is enough to get people who already don't like Obama, have more reason not to like him.

Wow. There's so much wrong with everything posted here, I don't even know where to start! First off, he has a CoLB which is legally binding in all states- it's an official document to represent cases when the original either doesn't exist or can't be located. The reason why it wasn't needed- but was presented to the WND- was because it was a requirement when he ran for Illinois state senate and the U.S. senate!

2. COLB is NOT legally binding in all states - not in FLA. I know that for FACT

4. A BC was NOT a req. when he ran for Senate - Place of birth does not matter - unless running for President ask Gov. of California.

@ppsimmons Dude, you're absolutely wrong! I lost my birth certificate- but was born in Florida. I filled out a form with the Florida Secretary of State and it was mailed to me. It is a legally-binding document issued by the state! I use it to gain employment, to get a new driver's license, and enroll in college classes! When I applied for the police academy, they accepted it as well! It's a legal document son! If he's anything like MANY Americans, he probably lost it form moving around!!

@darrenmuse the problem is that it is not a complete Birth Certificate that has been shown. He could get the full "long form" certificate from the state on his request. I have done the same for mine in California and received a much more detailed copy than the one shown by the president. The one he has shown is a computer print out from a database - one that, especially in Hawaii, you needed relatively little documentation on file to be able to receive.

Back to the point, though: I haven't seen you address any of the questions in this video - the change in the way that the Democratic party certifies their own candidate. There are much bigger questions and issues surrounding his past and his eligibility other than his birth certificate - they are still problems assuming, as I do, that he WAS born in Hawaii.

DL office here where I live WILL NOT accept a COB like BHO has from Hawaii - they WILL accept a LONG FORM BC - Hawaii issues those but BHO has not presented his...The copy you got from FL. Sec of St was a copy of YOUR BC! Of course they will accept a certified copy of that. YOu need to educate yourself on BHO's BC stuff - The Hawaii CB is not even accepted by Hawaii for certain high level government jobs. You are talking about 2 diff. things here.

Incorrect. That would violate the Constitution's full faith and credit clause. HI does accept it for all purposes, you're confusing the DHHL which over a year ago said it would take longer to confirm a person's Hawaiian heritage with a COLB than with their older "long form" certificate, and claiming that means the same as a COLB is unacceptable.
Please stop spreading birther lies, even if you erroneously consider them "undeniable."

A Certificate of Live Birth is not the same as a vault Birth Certificate & does not qualify as a obama's official BC. Questions:
1) Why on the COLB is there no name of the hospital & no name/signature of the attending physician?
2) Why does obama continue to refuse to release his Vault BC? Instead a team of attorneys are paid around 1.8 million dollars to keep it sealed; why if nothing to hide?
3) Why did O's grandmother admit being present when O was born in Kenya if it was false.
