The Boss Fender Bassman adds character to your set-up. Especially on solid state amps or vox amps as we see here. It is a good pedal to add bass as well. I have to admit it may not sound exactly alike the real thing but it mimics it threw a boss pedal well. I like the fact boss created this pedal since they have alot lows in there pedals already. It is not the best amp sounding pedal (like alot of pedalers say...."It sucks it doesn't sound like the real thing"). I tried it it sounds like a fende
